Bad. Ok, look, I wanted to leave a halfway decent review because the staff are really nice. I ordered a takeaway (in-house, at the counter). The staff are lovely, friendly, seemingly professional etc. I live literally a 90 second walk away, got home and it was horrendous. thrown together, smashed up on one side (no issue), but mainly, it was on what seemed like a shop bought flat bread. It wasn't a pizza. I'm not kidding, it wasn't a pizza and it's a hill I'll die on. I'm an ex chef/restaurant owner/manager of decades and I'm always on the side of the restaurant (unless I feel I'm being abused). This is very bad. It's a student getting a frozen flatbread from a supermarket. He smears some passata on it, throws some cheese and a topping on and chucks it in the oven. It came out flat, bland and just terrible. It got worse. I took it back, one bite out. The manager looked at it, was so nice and apologised. He agreed with everything and even bought me half a lager whilst waiting!
"if you don't like this one, I'll give you your money back and buy you a drink" he exclaimed proudly. I was well chuffed, I took it howe, all exited, hot pizza in the box in hand...
Just the same.
They just cook really bad pizzas. Honestly, the staff are lovely. Service brisk and professional, it's clean, the atmosphere is buzzing - the food is just horrendous. I'm not talking "mmmnn, it's a 6 out of 10 but they're nice", I'm talking "the food is absolutely terrible, how can a pizza be messed up so horrendously".
I genuinely hope that the management get back to me one day. I was sat at home with pizza number 2 about to eat Marmite on toast. Maybe the chefs are lying to them, maybe they don't know about real pizzas, whatever it is - the food here is a disgrace, horrendous.
Service 8/10 Cleanliness 9/10 Atmosphere 7.5/10 Food (its meant to be pizza) 2 at best
SO many better places for actual pizza in Estepona - what a shame
PS (I've got photos in case there's the old "you're just saying that response,...

The Pizzeria San Roque is on the Calle Melilla, but behind it (the staff can move from one to the other through the kitchen, but you can't) is the Heladeria la Artesana, in the little Plaza Miguel Angel Loren, underneath the orange trees, with its tables set out for you in the square.
I go there for scrumptious ice-creams, either to eat at one of the tables outside, or in a cone to take away.
I also go there for breakfast!
No, not ice-cream, although I suppose that I could if I wanted. :-) Coffee, super orange juice, toasted roll either with butter and jam or, Spanish style, with olive oil and tomato. You'll see little groups of Ladies-Who-Breakfast, or Men-Watching-The-Telly every morning.
But it's more than just ice-cream and breakfast, as they also have a good range of tapas at mid-day, and from mid-day onwards until midnight you can also order pizzas or full meals of the cafe type (such as pork loin with fried peppers and chips - nothing sophisticated) or a range of filled baguette sandwiches. In other words - everything that is available in the Pizzeria!
It's a local place where locals go regularly, the lottery-for-the-handicapped seller pops in every morning, and people know each other. And Juanito the boss is always very friendly.
The outside terrace has no passing traffic, so it's fairly calm.
Well, as calm as anywhere can be in Andalucia!
Well...
