This was my 1st visit here for somewhere to eat ,after having noticed the extensive.menu choices & very reasonable prices on display in the window of entrance to the bar .I decided to sit outside in the sunshine on one of the 6 avaiable tables. The table service provided by the staff was very pleasant& they spoke very good english ..Two small beers were soon on their way to the table & the food order of hamburger, egg& chips twice which included salad wasn't long to arrive either. The portion was tasty & plentiful. A coconut 🄄 ice-cream to share along with 2 white coffees finished off the meal nicely. The bar area itself is lovely & clean with plenty of tables available should you wish to sit inside this nice n cool environment. Cash or card payments are accepted The toilets are spotlessly clean & the restaurant area looked to be modern ,with nice n bright feel .I've visited ferreries many times over the years wile on holiday and can't understand why I haven't tried here before now.i do recommend a visit & I shall myself definitely return back again after this delightful eating experience.

Local - open lots of light and space between tables Service - cordial and efficient Good option for Sunday lunch time. In March we found the place open ' very popular with locals. We had one menu 17.50 and a dish of the carta. ( grilled lamb chops) Both were good - the menu was Sopas menorquines ( veg soup with meat) and Gallo ( grilled fish - no idea what is in English) - good, tasty and filling. The breaded lamb chops the same. Good value for winter time Menorca.

At least the place is opened in winter and the staff is quite friendly but the food is just ok... Our fish was still cold from being frozen and we had to send it back to get it fried more . The cream soup was warm but not hot. The sole was ok but the potatoes and vegetables had not much taste...

This hotel is very centrally located on the island, making it especially desirable if renting a car and wanting to explore each region of the island as we did. With just a 10-30 minute drive you can easily access pretty much anywhere on the island. Parking was only available on side streets, but fairly easy to figure out and convenient. Bus service runs through town for those who don’t have access to a car.||||We stayed in a studio apartment (#103) which made our three week stay especially pleasant. The twin beds were adequate, though perhaps a bit on the hard side. The balcony overlooked an inner courtyard area with a view of the hills in the distance. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, dish soap, cloths and more. The fridge/freezer worked great and allowed us to be prepared with frozen water bottles prior to each of our beach days and hiking treks. The bathroom was beautifully remodelled. Housekeeping staff kept the room impeccably clean and tidy each and every day.||||The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were lovely, with a spectacular view of the town and surrounding hills. Tables and loungers were available for use.||||The reception desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Thank you to Maria Angeles, Fabian and Deri for your hospitality. They certainly set the tone for our stay with their friendly greetings upon our comings and goings and tourist tips. We were especially grateful to Deri (one of the owners) who graciously accommodated our late request for visiting friends to have a suite near us for their time with us.|| ||We ate a few times at the attached bar restaurant. Prices were very reasonable, with generous portions of delicious food. ||||One of our favorite parts of this location was the opportunity to be at the center of a real town community rather than the seasonal tourist towns. Just steps away from the hotel was the town square with surrounding shops and restaurants, live music and dancing, a gelato shop and pastesserie. It was a unique and joyous experience to be able to soak in a different community and culture.||||We would not hesitate to return and we would highly recommend this hotel and location, especially to those who rent a car and want to explore. Loar has three kinds of accommodation - hotel/suites in one building and apartments and studios is the adjoining building. The buildings are seamless on he ground floor but separate lifts service the two buildings. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which has a balcony big enough for two chairs so great for looking at the comings and goings of locals and their families and what was going on in the square. The 12 apartments have outward facing balconies whereas the studios face the rear. I think it is worth the extra cost to have an apartment as we spent a fair amount of time just enjoying the atmosphere of the town. I don't know about the hotel rooms as we much prefer the space of an apartment and the flexibility to cook our own meals and snacks.||The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The highlight was the roof terrace with views, loungers, lovely pool and jacuzzi. There is also an indoor heated pool which was a bit awkward to access as unless the restaurant was open the only way in was via a spiral fire escape. Being able to choose which pool you fancied was a real treat and we mostly had the roof terrace to ourselves.||The town itself had no real must-sees for tourists but it was a convenient base to explore the island. Although Loar does not offer parking we always found a space within a few minutes' walk. There are enough places to eat and drink with three decent sized supermarkets, a butcher and fishmonger if you wanted to cook. The apartment facilities made this easy. It is quite surprising to have such a large establishment in an inland town but it seemed quite busy and the bar & restaurant were popular.||I certainly recommend Loar and Ferreries. Staying in a central town worked well for us. Don't hesitate to stop at a cheese producer, signposted everywhere. Mahon cheese...
