RESTAURANT NOU VIMPI — Restaurant in Ferreries

When im over in menorca & make a trip into ferreries i always have a drink,which normally is a small beer or the excellent white coffee @Nou Vimpi,after spotting other people eating on this occasion & liking the look of the quality on offer. i made a return visit later on in the week to try out the food ! ..But arriving around 4.40pm I found out the kitchen would be closing with orders in 10mins,afta making a choice of pizza which I found out I couldn't have due to my late arrival ,Tapas or burgers were only on offer from the menu so I went for a cheese burger which included chips & a small beer , I wasnt disappointed either,the meal was excellent & i will return again for a bite to eat when I'm over...

À FUIR ! Nous avons consommer 2 boissons en milieu d’après-midi sur la terrasse, je n’ai pas de mots pour décrire la politesse et la qualité du service à table. Pour commencer nous n’avons pas eu de carte des boissons ni de BONJOUR ! nous avons donc commandé 1 café et 1 jus de pomme, lors de l’arrivé des boisson la serveuse aurait pratiquement jeté les boissons sur la table ! Nous consommons donc assez rapidement au vu de l’accueil. Je me dirige donc vers l’intérieur de l’établissement pour régler l’addition, la serveuse était elle sur la terrasse et me regarde rentrer (alors qu’elle ne faisait rien à ce moment) j’ai dû attendre environ 10 minutes qu’elle se décide enfin à venir m’encaisser, lors de l’encaissement elle me tend l’appareil à carte bancaire, je paie, et elle pars sans dire MERCI ni AU REVOIR ce qui me semble être des principes de bases dans la restauration, même dans la vie courante. We only went in for a drink to past the time till our bus arrived. We realised that we had miscalculated the times somehow and the guy at the bar couldn't have been any nicer.
