Can Marti, located by the beautiful "Plata de Migjorn" beach, offers a dining experience that is hard to beat. The proximity to the sea creates a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere that enhances the entire meal. We had a company lunch here with about 20 attendees, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was truly spectacular. The restaurant provided a wide variety of local dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The highlight of the meal was, without a doubt, the bullit de peix with arroz a banda. It was the best I’ve had across the entire Balearic Islands. The fish was fresh and flavorful, the potatoes paired with a delicious alioli, but the arroz a banda was the real star – simply spectacular. The staff were incredibly pleasant and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the lunch. To complement the fantastic food, we were also able to try some local Formentera wine, which paired wonderfully with the meal and was a lovely addition to the experience. Overall, Can Marti is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic local cuisine in a breathtaking beachfront setting. Whether you’re there for a company lunch or a casual meal, the quality of the food and the atmosphere make it a must-visit. Highly recommended!

As a Formentera resident, my husband and I have eaten here a few times during the summer. Yesterday was their last day of service for the 2025 season. The hospitality and food at Can Martí have been consistent. They are known for their rice dishes with various toppings and fresh seafood. We tried their grilled meat this time and we were not disappointed. Prices are fair for Formentera standards because of the quality of the ingredients as well as the portions. We loved the scallops. I really enjoyed the vitello tonnato with the grilled eggplants. Both of our grilled meats were cooked to the point as requested.

Located at Migjorn beach, it is a lovely spot with a stunning sea view! We ended up visiting twice—once for some quick bites and again for an early dinner around 6:30 PM (one of the few places on the island open for dinner that early). The food was excellent—generous portions, great flavors, and very reasonably priced. Definitely good value for money. We tried the fried calamari, monkfish, and stuffed squid—all absolutely delicious. Service was top-notch too—friendly and attentive. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

I had hoped to dine here this afternoon. However, after sitting at a table for 20 minutes without any waiting staff assisting me, a waiter finally arrived and enquired how many people were dinning. I'm single and so I confirmed it was just myself. He scoffed at me and said it was a table for four. I suggested that the tables could be split to make two tables of two, to which he scoffed again and said it was a table for four. There were lots of empty tables (the restaurant was barely half full), so I enquired where I should sit. He just laughed at me with disdain. I subsequently left, as I was clearly not welcome.

This is absolutely appalling behaviour on the part of the waiter. As a single person going into a restaurant it is always a daunting experience, but to be discriminated against in this manner was totally humiliating and reflects poorly on this waiter and the establishment which...
