Fratello Restaurante — Restaurant in Fuengirola

We visited Fratello a week ago, and our impressions were mixed. The location is superb, and the service was very good and friendly, despite only one person serving. We had beef with mushrooms, vegetables, and sautéed potatoes, which were very good. The Carbonara and Penne Alfredo were also good. However, the seafood pasta was just okay and could have been spiced up a bit.

What was disappointing was the dessert. Our family is Tiramisu lovers, so we decided to try three different kinds: classic, with strawberries, and with pistachio. Unfortunately, all three were quite tasteless. The finger biscuits, which are normally soaked in coffee and Amaretto/Disaronno, tasted almost nothing. The balance was off, with very few finger biscuits, so it felt like we were just eating cream and mascarpone with strawberry/pistachio or plain.

We might go back, but we’ll skip the dessert next time :-)

Honestly, we had the most amazing time in Fuengirola for a whole 10 days! We made it a point to explore various restaurants, and let me tell you, this place won us over not once, but twice with their incredibly delicious pizza and pasta. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine, I cannot recommend this place...
