What a great place to visit. To be honest, I had no previous particular liking of snakes, but my whole opinion has completely changed. What beautiful, peaceful creatures they are. My 7 year old daughter and I spent a good couple of hours spending time with the snakes, tortoises and other creatures. The young lady who explained everything to us spoke in Spanish and English. She was well informed, friendly and interesting. The animals there were well kept and looked after. The snakes that we handled were clearly used to it and were very comfortable being held. It is easily accessible and suitable for all ages, even the youngest of children were handling the snakes. The room itself is not massive but it is the interaction with the animals that makes this place special. For this reason, it is best to visit when it is not so busy, to get the most out of...

  1. Amazing 2 ladies (who I suspect are the owners of this serpentarium) who spent their time explaining about their snakes, spiders, iguanas, lizards etc. Ask anything - they have an answer ready! Also they let us pet some snakes and iguanas - unforgettable moments ❤️

  2. Great location just right next to the Gourmet Avenue, so if you are skittish - a shot of something nice and go on, explore some terrariums!

  3. Terrariums/aquariums are clean, nothing smells, every living creature is well taken care of, you can judge by very hard to keep axolotls condition - they look healthy and happy.

I would LOVE if they offer some "adult hour" option (as to not have kids inside, I am pretty sure it's insanely stressful to animals, I've seen it myself), then I would come once again, just for the proper introduction to these...

We had a good time with the kids. Kids could take a few snakes and wrap a bigger one around their neck. I would not make a detour for it, but if you have planning a day at the beach nearby, or to the biopark, then visiting the Serpentarium would be a nice complement to your day.

Owners are very knowledgeable and we managed to communicate barring the language barrier. There are a lot of snakes but the place is somewhat small.

It costs us 30 euros for a family of 4. We spent one hour there, talking a lot with the owner. Kids had a great time.

I would say go if there is not many people in the store because the value is in the talks with the employees. If you cannot have access to them or talk to them, then the visit would be very...

Visited the Snakeroom on the 22nd of August, Tobias has been excellent in explaining to us all the differences between snake species and different morphs, it was a great opportunity for me to learn more than I know about my favourite animal. He did mention that his duty is to make people understand more about snakes and respect such a misunderstood animal, and believe me, if you are scared of snakes, Tobias can actually make change your mind. The collection is impressive with all the different species and the outstanding housekeeping. As a snake lover I absolutely loved it, I even appreciate more my own pet snakes.

I recently visited the snakeroom and had an amazing time! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. Although the space seemed small, the high level of interaction with the reptiles made it worth every penny. We got to hold and learn about various reptiles up close. If you're scared of snakes, they have a small, sweet snake named Lola who’s perfect for easing your fears. Overall, the snakeroom offers great value and a unique, engaging experience. Highly recommended! Ps the turtoise trying to escape is hilarious
