We booked at 9 am Sunday morning (1st May) for lunch that same day. We were told that the only times left were either 13:30 or 15:30. We chose 13:30 as it would be a good time for the children to eat. The house salad (for 2 people) was large. The stuffed aubergines with meat weren't anything to write home about, but the meat we ordered (pluma) and the "patatas a lo pobre" were wonderful. We had cheesecake and "leche frita" for dessert, both were wonderful. Service was good, it was quick but without rushing you. We sat outside in the shade near the play area, which was perfect for the children to play while food arrived or while the adults enjoyed coffee after the meal. There was plenty of room and it didn't feel crowded despite there being quite a few families/groups...
Read moreCold room, cold food cold plates. We stayed at the campsite which was excellent but in comparison the restaurant was awful. Reserved a table and arrived to find other guests sitting eating in their coats. Asked to be moved to near the fire in another room which they did it was marginally better. Ordered soup to warm up my husbands was tepid we sent it back and was reheated. Our mains came on cold plates a few soggy chips, limp peppers with the meat. Food was edible but became cold very quickly. The waitress realised we weren't happy and when she explained to her manager he did not seem to care one bit. Don't waste your time or money here in...
