It looks right, but the attitude and attention to customers is horrible. I walked into an empty restaurant where reviews claim it is difficult to get seating. I have suspicions that the reviews are fake. There were five servers and no customers. I was told the customers are not allowed to use electricity to charge phones or plug in computers when I went to plug in. There is no internet/wifi.
I ordered tea (traditional) and asked for a pot. I was told that was impossible. They would only serve a cup. I said that I'd never been there before and wanted to start slow... I ordered basic naan. It took about 25 minutes for the tea to be delivered. The naan came 5 minutes after.
Meanwhile a table of two women were served a bottle of wine and one woman began charging her phone.
The Naan was pathetic. It was pasty, undercooked and totally flavorless as if there were hidden charges to add salt and enough electricity to completely cook the order.
When I told the host that I was a paid reviewer (I actually am) and suggested it should never take 25 minutes for a cup of tea. He essentially said "we do not need customers of your type to dine here." Perhaps he did not like my clothing or the fact that I did not start with a bottle of wine.
There are many less pretentious, honest places to eat in Gandia....
Read more(ESP) Comportamiento y calidad de servicio extremadamente ridículos.

Extremely ridiculous behavior and service quality. On entering the restaurant, I was greeted in a totally informal and inappropriate manner. The waiter who attended me was a Pakistani and was extremely rude: he literally snatched a sauce plate to place an empty plate (for serving meal) while I was dipping a piece of bread in it.
The waiter had no smile on his face and seemed to be in extreme hurry while taking the order.
Ordered food: I asked the waiter if "chicken karahi" would be spicy to which he said "yes, it would be". IT WAS SWEET.
The garlic naan was thin as chapati (tandoori roti). Both chapati and naan were soaked in oil, and it was literally dripping off.
After 15 minutes of meal was served, I asked the waiter for a tea to which he replied, "there is no tea, our kitchen is closed".
I also asked the waiter if I could order something for takeaway to which he coldly replied " no, kitchen is closed now" - it was 15: 47 (CET).
To my astonishment, the same waiter was taking order from another table across me at this time.
I couldn't finish the "sweet" chicken karahi, which was supposed to be spicy by the way, so I asked the waiter to pack it for me. He brought a disposable aluminium container and said here you go. Perplexed, I asked do I have to do it by myself? He said "yes, you have to do it yourself".
I did it without any shame or hesitation – afterall it was the food I was going to pay.
Personally, I felt humiliated and discriminated by the staff behavior and would not like people to prefer this restaurant if they are brown...
Read moreI had the best Indian meal of my life here.. I was undecided between two dishes, so I asked for a combination of Pahari chicken (served sizzling on an iron plate) with a jalfrezi sauce on the side.. what a fantastic combination, that I can't wait to repeat and recommend. This place is as good as any I have tried in London, Manchester, Glasgow....and the best I have found in Spain. Very friendly, they ask you how spicy, mild or sweet, you like your particular dish and adjust it accordingly. The friendly and attentive staff, speak English and Spanish. Keema rice, keema nan are my favorite with lamb jalfrezi, Butter chicken or chilli chicken that are fantastic. We have tried every Indian restaurant within a 50km radius of Gandia, and put Mr India at number 1....!! (Park in the station car park for a small fee to the...
