Very interesting, beautiful pictures and ceilings. The golden gallery is stunning. It' just a pity that it looks very uninteresting from outside, you would pass it without a second glance if you didn' t know it was there, and the surrounding buildings are also not very appeaing. Lets just say that the setting is not great. On the plus side: very friendly staff, a good sound guide and an easy underground parking next door. Forget about a stroll through Gandia though, its very depressing!

A lovely palace with a mix of styles (Neogothic, Baroque) as it has had a longevous existence with a variety of owners (Mostly the Borja family but afterwards the Osuna and last the Jesuits). It has on display wonderful tiling from Manises with a variety of floral motifs that are typical from the region and gorgeous to look at. Being one of the most salient constructions in Gandía, it is well worth the visit if you are around.

The Ducal Palace of Gandia is a real gem! Quick tip: evening light photos are really fantastic as you can go to the terrace of the palace. It’s a beautifully preserved historic palace with impressive architecture and stunning interiors. The guided tours are informative and let you dive into the fascinating history of the Borgia family. A true must-see when visiting Gandia! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Totally worth it and impressive. If you are spending some days in Gandia and you get a bit tired of the beach, please consider to visit this palace.

Better to take a guided tour so you can learn about the secrets and The Gandia town itself. You can spend easily 1.30 hours.

The rooms are from different times and decorated according to those times. You can see some remains from 12th century, rooms decorated on golden and with paintings until 18th century. The price is 6€ and is...

Well worth visiting, the gilded gallery is worth the admission price on its own. A "little " unfortunately the Palace is owned and has been restored by the Jesuits. This means that the explanation of the history of the Palace is focused a little intensly on Saint Francisco Borja, who " gave it all up " to become a Jesuit. I would really have enjoyed a wider explanation of the Palaces context, origins, ownership etc. There also seems to be quite a large area of the Palace not...
