El Cafetín Del Puerto — Restaurant in Garrucha

Wasted time and left hungry, whether it was because we were english (although we speak some spanish) I'm not sure.

We asked and were told to sit anywhere, then 10 mins later told we couldn't sit there. Ok so we moved elsewhere, Waited to order and she came and asked if we needed the bill?! Then begrudgingly took our order stopping to have a conversation with someone else. Eventually my food was chucked at me on the table, no sign of the second meal..... we tried to check but were ignored. 20 mins later my partners food came with uncooked bacon and burnt eggs. No cutlery offered. By this time we just wanted to leave so asked for the bill, again ignored, 15 mins later we went inside to pay as understand they can be busy. When we mentioned the food couldn't be eaten all we got was a shrug and charged for it anyway. Shame as such a nice setting but maybe they just don't want...

Absolutely horrible treatment. When we ordered 2 cocktails more the waiter was clearly bothered by it, releasing a huge sigh… should we be sorry we came to leave our money here and dared to bother the waiter? It was in November, the place wasn’t even busy. Their tapas are not so bad, but you don’t even know what you’re ordering. No description, not even any name, you have to show with your finger what you want (amongst something like 15 dishes). Some of them are more expensive then the others (again, there are no prices, you find out when you receive a receipt). We have never been...

I’ve been traveling all over Spain I almost forgot this place and let it escape. Visited September 29th, took forever to get service, they then tried to rush me to order something 1 minute after handing out the menu. I got some type of fried fish, looked good I even took this picture lol. But unfortunately the fish was overcooked and was very chewy I couldn’t finish it. Everything was well seasoned, just the chewy inedible...
