Long story, but worth reading to avoid a pitiful experience. Writting in english, as I want owners to understand it, any question for spanish users, just ask me. We went in person and reserved a table for four people for the next day at 14:30 with the woman we assumed was the owner (as the waiter told us he could not do it, and to ask her). She told us to choose the table we preferred and she wrote down our name and phone number.
We arrived around 14:15, and our table was taken (three tables taken and one of them was ours); the waiter didn't even know or ask about the reservation. We informed him about it, and he, upset, offered us another table for four; they had to move three people from a table of four seats to accommodate us...
We ordered wine, water, two small starters, and seafood they offer with salad and fish. Clock time ~14:25.
They brought the starters very quickly, and a container with candles to keep the seafood warm (the waiter couldn't light the candles properly, and we asked for the lighter to do it ourselves, after asking three times he handed over). Well, now I see, that insisting on it, was our mistake, as we thought our main course was coming, but it was not even close.
We asked the other waiter, who seemed more experienced, about our main course two or three times, and the last time he even seemed embarrassed by the time we had already waited. It's not that we were upset about waiting for an hour, it's that they served all the tables that came later before us, and at least four seafood dishes ordered after ours.
Around 15:30, we had no patience left and informed them that we were leaving, of course, paying for what we had consumed. The unprofessional waiter told us we had to pay for the seafood as it was already prepared, and offered to serve it as a takeaway... after 10 minutes, the chef (we assume the other co-owner) appeared with the seafood and tried to explain, as best he could, that they checked the cameras and we arrived after 14:00. Of course, we did. I spoke briefly to him, and he complained that they have a small grill...
The waiter tried to charge us for two bottles of wine, but the good waiter corrected him, stating that it was from another table. After asking for the complaint sheet and not receiving it, we paid and left, vowing never to return.
We had to leave at 15:40 to find another place to eat something luckily.
It's a pity as all the food looked nice, but we could barely try any.
Avoid this place, or try at your own risk.
P.S. I write "good waiter", as he was the one with expertise, truly concerned and ambarrassed of the situation, the only one who apologized many times and not making us guilty of the situation, we even saw the other cutting a slice of the pork leg and chewing it during his tasks (at the begining it was funny, but after what happened... no...

Read moreGreat food that is 100% made from home and scratch, the deep fried squid was very good, burger was excelent but the fries could have needed a bit more time to become crispy and some extra salt. Dessert we had brownies which were so freaking good. The owners are from canada and the daughter makes all the food. I must say that she is INSANELY talented and hope more people try the menu del dia for 12.50€. Is it the best food i have ever eaten, no but its really solid food with fresh ingrediants. Only negative has to be the fries and that the only english speaking waiter dident know they had rubarb and strawberry crumble which is my fave so was pretty bumed out that i missed that one. At that price point its hard to beat. All the plates and everything looked like a very high end restaurant....
