Hotel Lleida is a modern looking hotel situated in the centre of Graus, just a short walk from the charming old town. The hotel seems to have several parking options and we had no problem finding a space in the modern car park opposite (as opposed to the gravel one that indicated 2 hour maximum stay).||Check in was friendly and efficient and when we discovered a problem with our room, we were switched immediately without fuss or question.||The public areas of the hotel are smart and very modern. The bedrooms don’t quite add up to the promise of the reception area however and are quite small and rather Spartan in style and decor. Our room however was very clean and perfectly adequate, and the only thing I would have liked were a few cushions on the bed to negate the dreadfully uncomfortable headboard.||Breakfast was a very simple affair as befits the standard of the hotel. You go down to the bar, tell the waitress that you are a hotel guest and she will bring you an orange juice, coffee, toast and jam, a pastry and cake. ||The bottom line re this hotel is that it suited our needs perfectly well. It is in an ideal location, has good parking, and offered reasonable accommodation as befits it’s one star status. We would be happy to...
Read moreI would rate 3.5 stars on 5 but as it's not possible to give half stars i give them the benefit of doubt. Generally the food is (average) good , Today I went for the daily menu and chose the asparagus as first dish and escalope milanese as second, cheesecake as postre. The grilled green asparagus (with foie gras topping and tomato sauce) was great, the escalope was normal and the cheesecake was great as well (relatively compared to restaurants in this area offcourse). The white wine, somontano montesierra seleccion (a full bottle comes with lunch) is a nice local blended wine. My Girlfriend had the bolognesa pizza and altough I would never make that selection, I can definitly not recommend this one (too much dough, and the bolognesa topping is too sweet and to me further no distinctive taste). Staff tries to do their best but seems a bit too busy to give a good service. We'll come back because its good and there are few other peers with a good choice on the...
Read moreThis is an outstanding family-oriented hotel in Graus, a beautiful little town close to the Pyrenees in the Aragon region, Spain. We spent about 10 days in the hotel (two rooms -- three adults and three children) and it was an unforgettable experience. The most striking feature of the hotel is its family-orientation and excellent food quality. The staff is extremely friendly and really make you feel at home. Its location is great as well and prices are really modest for the value you get. Do not let yourself be misguided by the one-star rating of the hotel. The hotel should receive a solid three-star rating. We are particularly grateful to the owner (Consuelo) and the General Manager (Susana) who were always looking for ways to make our stay more pleasant. The waiters, maids and other staff were extremely helpful and always had a smile and positive attitude, which we all enjoyed (especially our kids). ||||Segura-Rivadeneyra Family||Washington DC, United...
