Predominantly a fish and seafood restaurant but meat options available. Lovely evening here dined inside as weather was unusually temperamental. Restaurant was extremely busy but well managed and staffed so serviced didn’t suffer. A slightly wait for the table but this was spent sipping the complimentary glass of Cava.
The menu has many options to choose from. There must be at least 20 starters and possibly similar number of main coursers. Sides are listed but available. There is also a tasting menu but we opted for the A La carte. To start we shared salted prawns and a second dish of octopus. Absolutely delicious so fresh.
For our mains I had the local fish Grupa. Lovely piece of fillet with carrot purée and fennel sauce. My husband had the tenderloin of beef with mash and jus. Both cooked exquisitely. As sides we got sautéed mixed veg and a green salad. Again everything extremely fresh and bursting with flavour. And yes we forced room for a dessert of profiteroles a single large profiterole with caramel coated banana pieces and sauce.
All fabulous. Restaurant emptied out quite early we were one of the last to leave at 10.30. Beautiful food. Great Service. Definitely recommend trying this spot.
Back again. Still fabulous.

Aubergine curry. Calamari in a hurry, to get from the sea to the plate, keep the faith, it’s all fresh bait.
Tenderloin of Beef, Chicken Supreme, Great Grupa delights our plates in full sight.
Moorishly more, give me some more, of those sweet fresh delights. Profiteroles, cheese cakes, ice cream galore… hard to decide, we’ll have to come back for more.
Deliciously yummy, we depart with full tummies, waving a heartfelt goodbye and a...
Read moreMy brother and I are staying at Ritz and went for a dinner there last night, and ended up feeling so confused and underwhelmed by the whole experience. I am thankful to a wonderful manager and host Patricia (I hope I am remembering a the name correctly) and a few front of house team members who made us feel warm and welcomed, but our waiter for the evening was very chaotic and inattentive, I am sorry to say. The weather was quite windy, and my glass of wine ended up falling down, the guy and another FOH turned around and noticed that, but didn’t care to offer any help, so I cleaned everything myself (which wouldn’t be an issue at all if there were not so many other misses on their end). They approached our table several times, putting up an empty bottle of wine and then just putting down and walking away, not asking whether we’d like another one and just ignoring my attempts to order it. Appetizers were alright, but not much more, the paella we were so looking forward to was probably one of the most bland and tasteless I have ever had (having a price of nearly 80 euros for 2 people). White wine we had was a disappointment too. We witnessed a couple next to us during a special night (most likely an engagement dinner), and having the exact similar disaster-type of an experience, and I really felt for them. Had to ask for the bill twice and it still didn’t come a half an hour later (happened to at least three tables as well during the evening), despite the restaurant being almost empty at that point, and ended up paying at the exit as we were leaving. Felt surreal to leave nearly 200 euros for that, would certainly recommend enjoying a club sandwich and a beer by the pool or...
Read moreAfter a similar experience at Txocho at the Ritz Carlton Abama, I normally don't bother with bad reviews but this was laughable. On entering, the queue was enormous despite everyone having reservations with some waiting over 30 mins to be seated.
After seating, it was another 30 mins before we were spoke to for drinks orders and again a wait to order food. Over 1 hour passed without getting starters (mediocre fried food at best - croquettes and calamari)
Drinks orders were constantly forgotten, having to remind staff we were there despite sitting in a walk way where they all came hurtling past in frantic rush.
Staff congregating in up to 6 at a time around waiter stations. I was hearing constant complaints from all the tables around us about service. At one stage I seen 5 staff members tending to just one table, serving wine, water, bringing bread, retaking an order and delivering a starter
The manager was running around putting out customer complaint fire's constantly.
Mains were tasty but my steak was drowned in a sauce that wasn't mentioned on the menu.
Desert was delicious.
Our 2 waiters, I believe Alejandro and Marcella were friendly and pleasant but that wasn't the problem.
The bill appeared with items we hadn't ordered so had to be sent back.
Nearly 3 hours in total for a 3 course meal that was pretty average, we were on half board so the price wasn't an issue but had we not been i would have complained.
The service needs an overhaul in this restaurant, similar to Txocho. All restaurants have a bad night every now and again but this was chronic in terms of the cost of the food/quality and...
