Verona — Restaurant in Guía de Isora

We were so excited to come to Verona for dinner as the menu looked amazing. When we got there, we were seated quickly. After that nothing happened for ten minutes, and someone then threw a qr code on the table. After another 5 minutes my wife went up to speak to the reception as no waiter came to us. He then told us someone would be right with us. A few minutes later the waiter came over to take our order. We waited another 15 minutes, and still hadn't received our drinks. What a joke! We told them to cancel our order and we were leaving. Waiting 30 minutes with no drinks or even bread is absurd. 0-stars for service.

We ended up walking upstairs to the Lobby Bar and it was terrific! Live music, friendly staff, attentive service. We had water on the table as we sat down, snacks 2 minutes later, orders after that, drinks in 5 minutes, and food 15 minutes later. All in all we had a two course meal and drinks in less...

This is by far the best restaurant at the Ritz. We wish we would have tried it earlier in our stay but it was a nice way to end our trip. The portions are huge so keep that in mind - we saw a calzone come out that could feed two very hungry men without a problem. To start, we had the Rosemary focaccia and the stracciatella. Both were delicious and went well together. For our mains we had the spicy salmon and the Cacio y Pepe. The pasta was great but the salmon was one of the best salmon dishes I’ve had in the past few years. Lastly, the panna cotta and tiramisu knocked it out of the park. All the dishes we saw being served around us looked equally as good. The service was a bit hit or miss - we had to refill our own waters but the food definitely made up for that. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Verona Restaurant in Tenerife, thanks to Pedro! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel so welcome with his warm and friendly service. He was incredibly attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout our meal.
