visited this restaurant — and are still impressed! We ordered the tasting menu, and each dish was a small work of art: from presentation to taste — everything was thought out to the smallest detail. An amazing combination of textures, aromas and fresh ingredients — you can really feel that the chef cooks with soul and real inspiration.

The service is top notch: unobtrusive, polite, with a sincere smile. The waiter was very attentive, explained everything, gave recommendations, and hit the mark every time.

The atmosphere in the hall is cozy, stylish and relaxing. This is the place where you want to return not only for the food, but also for the feeling of coziness and care.

If you are visiting Tenerife and enjoy exceptional food and service, Melvin's is a must visit. Chef Sergio and his team do an outstanding job, their rice dishes are exceptional, crispy suckling pig always delivers! The tuna carpaccio is one of the best I have had anywhere! The crispy seabass is always a joy and pairs very nicely with the best French fries you will ever have! If you enjoy a good steak you will not go wrong. The menu has something for everyone. The wines are always good value regardless if its a local Tenerife or great Spanish red. Miriam and her front of house team do an outstanding job. Always knowledgeable and welcoming. The sunset views are some of the finest in Tenerife looking across Abama golf course and the The Atlantic...great sunsets! This is a gem of a restaurant with the food...

Unfortunately despite high expectations I’m able to give only 2 up to 2,5 stars. The restaurant looks great with a friendly staff and in general tasty food however guest experience is rather mediocre. I’ve ordered creamy rice with squid and octopus. Being honest I didn’t ask and was not informed that it’s actually black rice with squid ink and octopus. I expected what was written and since I do not like black rice I sent it back not touched and was fully charged for it. Being in such a great place of its price range I do expect to be informed what will be served. Summing up, it’s a great place with a very good food if you are open for mistery and unknown. Don’t expect to be informed...
