Underwhelmed, this was one of the best in town before closure during covid, now renamed, reopen and relaunched. Firstly the website doesn't work, you can't view menu or wine list, you can't book through the website, it just doesn't work. We booked via email and got an email response but they were one week out, we pointed this out and they confirmed our correct booking, on arrival we gave our name and said we booked, guess what?" no you haven't " we should have guessed we'd be dissatisfied at this point, they have a QR code drinks list, guess what? They haven't put everything on it, we asked for a specific wine not listed, yes they have it, its definitely on the list, leant them my phone and guess what? It's not on, off the guy goes, comes back with my £35 bottle of white wine but guess what? no one had put any in the fridge? Sorry I'm not having warm wine! Picked a €34 alternative that, and here I'm 100% guessing, the wine is a grape and style we have drank many times ,but should be light in colour, bright and citrus, here's my guess, the place had been shut 2 years and this wine is possibly pre covid stock, again I'm guessing, I think the wine temperature had not been maintained during the 2 years they were shut, so although drinkable and not corked the colour had darkened and the taste was affected, ah well it's our anniversary so carry on. We ordered a dish we know and had eaten at the old restaurant and other local restaurants, our rice dish was barely warm, nice enough but we had better recently at a local bar for half the price, whilst in here another Spanish diner sent his meal back as it wasn't cooked. Errores de servicio. Tardaron en darnos mesa, que teníamos previamente reservada. El camarero no hacía más que mirar el cuadrante en el ordenador y no sabia decirnos cual era nuestra mesa. Lo realmente espectacular es que el tipo al no tener aclare, siguió sus labores de trabajo y pasó de ubicarnos, quedando todos nosotros (6 personas) de pie en el centro del restaurante. Realmente lamentable.
Y lo peor de todo: a mi mujer le salió en el plato de ensaladilla unos cristales (supuestamente del vaso donde se vuelca la ensaladilla rusa que sirven alli), llamamos al dueño, donde le mostramos los cristales encontrados en la boca de mi mujer cuando estaba comiendo, se muestran interesados, se llevan el plato A MEDIAS DE COMER de mi mujer, y ahora viene los bueno: NI NOS OFRECEN REPONERNOS OTRA RACIÓN DE ENSALADILLA NUEVA Y MI MUJER SE QUEDÓ SIN SU PLATO CON ENSALADILLA QUE SE LLEVARON Y SIN EL PLATO DE SERVICIO, YA QUE AL LLEVARSELO LA DEJARON CON EL TENEDOR EN LA MANO, tuvimos que pedir DOS VECES un plato.
Posteriormente, viene el dueño tras indagar en el suceso, y nos comenta que la camarera que nos volcó la ensaladilla del vaso al plato (sistema del restaurante de servir la ensaladilla) le dijo al dueño que si podría haber cristales en la ensaladilla ya que podría haberse roto el vaso al volcarlo. Es decir, tenían sospechas de que podría haber ocurrido, pero siguieron con el servicio y nos pusieron el plato con cristales. Una vergüenza.
Cuando nos trajeron la cuenta no hubo ningún detalle de compensación, ni en los postres, ni en los cafés. Cobraron religiosamente todo lo consumido (y lo no consumido, la ensaladilla con cristales) sin ofrecer otra ración nueva y sin detalle de postres o cafés o lo que sea. Muy muy mal gesto por parte del restaurante. Y para rematar, pedí un café solo expreso, y me lo sirven SIN CREMA, realmente LAMENTABLE.
Restaurante vetado ya para siempre, pero al menos que conste que si te sirven un plato de comida con cristales, se lo llevan a medias, no te reponen, y lo pagas....
