This restaurant looked promising but our experience gradually disintegrated as our meal progressed. With an enviable view across the ocean, an initial welcome that was more encouraging than other local restaurants we had eaten at and the promise of fresh fish, we were hoping, after nearly a week in Lanzarote, to have found a regular haunt. Sadly not. The waiter who took our order was surly and dismissive and when our drinks arrived, we realised he had not even been paying attention. Our freshly grilled sardines were indeed fresh and grilled but our paella for two was unappetising and devoid of fresh fish except for six lonely prawns balanced strategically around the dish - three each. The two white rolls were added to the cost of our meal even though we had not asked for them and did not eat them. For what we ate and drank, the meal was also far too expensive. What has really bugged me more than anything since we arrived here in Lanzarote is the flippant manner in which food or drinks are chucked on the table. It needs addressing if we, the paying guest, are...
Read moreMe and my friends (in total 6 people) visited the place today after checking other places which were busy at the time. Even though we saw the relatively low rating, we decided to give it a try.

I would say that the service was of moderate quality, but in the end, they gave each some sweets and sent us with smiles.
Overall, great view with the breeze coming from the ocean, extremely indulging food, and...
Read moreAfter reading the reviews I was torn as to whether to eat here or not, at 3.7 stars I was tempted and then read glowing reviews. Our experience was terrible I'm afraid. We, a group of 4, arrived to find the restaurant actually empty at 7pm... we should have taken this as a sign! The waiter (possibly the owner) seemed iritated by our arrival, probably because he was enjoying a drink in the bar with his mates. The food was below average, the grilled fish platter being the worst I had tasted on the island. When we asked for bread the waiter/owner appeared shocked at our request, we had to remind him of our request when he returned with a few bits of dried toast. Avoid this place and go elsewhere, you will only be disappointed if you don't...
