Gusto's — Restaurant in Ibiza

Bad experience eating here today as a table of 8 females. One chicken burger ordered without sauce, what arrived was 3 chicken nuggets on a ciabatta covered in sauce. The three pasta dishes were inedible. We had 4 steaks all ordered medium rare but received 1 rare. We sent the so called chicken burger and 1 of the pasta dishes back. After the waitresses speaking to a couple of the younger members of our group, she then sent over the manager to speak to them. The manager than brought over a male guest to the table to translate. The chef then came out and said he was the owner and asked what was wrong with the food. Obviously some what intimidating and overkill. He tried to justify the the chicken nuggets as his homemade chicken strips, these were definitely frozen chicken nuggets but regardless of that it was not the chicken burger advertised. We told him that the pasta was chewy, he said that the pasta was freshly made and cooked al dente. The pasta was definitely over worked and would of been chewy regardless of how it had been cooked. When one of our party told him it was unacceptable to be intimidating the younger members of the group he told her to leave! Bad food, bad service and a bad attitude, there are plenty of other...

Ate here Monday 22nd April a truly aweful experience. The "chef" came out of the kitchen to argue with us about his freshly made pasta which could stand up on its own it was so overworked. My steak was dropped onto the person sitting besides me, it went back into the kitchen i thought they were adding chips as half of mine were either on the floor or my friends lap but nope they didn't even replace them. On the subject of the chips they were supposed to be chunky chips but were more like deep fried potato skins. A chicken burger was infact 3 chicken dippers which "chef" claimed were home made chicken strips, but that wasn't what they were advertised as. 4 steaks ordered, a defibrillator could have brought one of them back to life it was so raw we all ordered medium rare and every steak was wildly different. To be honest if the 1st person we quietly complained to had just dealt with the criticism I wouldn't be writing this review, everyone has a bad day but the manager came over and was really rude. We were a party of eight. It wasn’t a great start when we were told they didn’t serve cocktails but they were advertised. A different waitress arrived and let us know the 4 cocktails that were available, 1 of which was a gin and tonic. Ordered food four of us ordered a steak dish that unfortunately wasn’t available. Changed order. Went to the bar to retrieve the missed drinks from the order. Went to the loo, no toilet paper. Food came, 1 out of four steaks was so undercooked it was inedible. The chunky chips were deep fried skins with no potato. 3 pasta dishes were absolutely disgusting the home made pasta was so overworked it was inedible. Chicken burger was 3 chicken nuggets on a bun. Discussed the problems with waitress number 1. Another waitress came out extremely rude and stormed off. Then the chef came out and was so rude and intimidating one of our party left.
