Manny's Tropical Soul Food Bar — Restaurant in Ibiza

Manny and John have an all around incredible restaurant. We had just landed and drove into the city looking for food. We struggled to find parking but they were very accommodating with taking it with us. We got the curry and another dish with 4 different types of meats and substituted noodles for rice. It was absolutely incredible. John helped to recommend some options and he did flawless. Manny did amazing in the kitchen with creating a deliciously tasting meal. We wished we could have stayed to enjoy the company of manny and John because they were both so kind. John gave us a couple recommendations for other restaurants and beaches on the island. We had many dinners in Ibiza in the past 10 days and this will definitely stuck as one of the best experiences.

The mix of Caribbean/Surinamese cuisine with the Indian influence, cooked to perfection by an excellent chef and a mom is a definition of home cooking and soul food. You can truly taste the soul part in the dishes that makes you lick your fingers.

The place is runned by a beautiful family that made us feel warm and welcomed.

Recommended by a friend that lives on the island. Delicious food and service. I’ve approached reluctantly the restaurant as it was 10’ before closing time and working in hospo I don’t like to be that kind of customer. The owners where extremely nice and helpful. Dutch couple from Amsterdam with Indonesian and Suriname background. My favourite was the habanero and mango chutney and both of the rice they’ve served me.
