Tamarind India — Restaurant in Ibiza

Ordered a takeaway for the 1st time last night & felt Id wasted my €16.00. Vegetable Samosas - 2 large but hard odd shaped balls with a thick outer crust?? Not the triangular shaped parcels in a light batter which you'd expect. The veg & potato filling inside was tasty though with coriander seeds for flavour but they werent ground down enough so I kept picking the seed shell out of my teeth. They came with a small pot of dark sauce, I dont know what it was but the flavour wasnt nice. I'd ordered Mango Chutney as an extra which was a nice flavour so I used that with the hard shell samosas.

Lamb Jalfrezi - came with plain white rice which was ok. The curry itself had no Jalfrezi flavour whatsoever! The sauce was more like a tikka masala, thick & creamy. No flavour of ginger or chilli - very disappointing. The lamb was very chewy I threw it all in the bin and went to bed hungry. Would not order...

The place is actually like an Indian 'dhaba', in terms of food, flavor, seating and ambience. The food taste was good (7/10), but if you are expecting a cozy seating and quiet ambience this is not the place for you. The seat covers themselves dont look very clean and the smoke from the kitchen hurts you eyes. They recieve a large number of home delivery orders (it seems) and waiting time for your food could be a bit long. We waited over 30 mins for ours. But after all the waiting, when our food was served - it was worth the wait. I would recommend this place if you have time, want dhaba style food and are close to the beach. But, for a cozy, fancy or quiet lunch or dinner this may not...

I had a very bad experience. Horrible one. We ordered the platos which includes a started, entree and postre. Chicken Tandorri for starters lacked salt and limon. We asked for chaat masala. The guy denied serving chaat masala.

We had some left overs and asked for to go boxes and were denied again. I have never gone to an restaurant and experienced such horrible service. Upon encountering such treatment we left without the desert. Offcourse never entering that place.

If you running a restaurant the key is show hospitality to your customers....
