HORIZON Ibiza - Mediterranean Paellas — Restaurant in Ibiza

I spent a wonderful week in Ibiza, and out of all the culinary experiences, Horizon Restaurant truly stood out. We had an extraordinary meal here, and every dish was a revelation. Exceptional food: The calamari was perfectly cooked—tender and full of flavor. The paella was incredible, with fresh seafood and perfectly cooked rice, full of authentic flavors. The beef steak was a top-tier dish—well cooked, juicy, and with a perfect texture. The shrimp spaghetti was a fantastic combination, and the sauce perfectly highlighted the freshness of the ingredients. The burger was a pleasant surprise—a perfect balance of meat, cheese, and the rest of the ingredients. Beyond the outstanding food, the staff was equally exceptional. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and prompt service turned each visit into an unforgettable experience. Very poor service experience – disappointing overall

I visited Horizon Restaurant – Mediterranean Paellas in Figueretas on July 21, 2025, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

From 10:00 AM to around 2:30 PM, we had coffee, wine, and lunch. It took over 90 minutes for our food to arrive and one full hour just to receive a bottle of wine. Even more frustrating, our table was never cleaned once during our entire stay, despite being visibly dirty from the start.

The staff seemed completely disengaged and indifferent, which really ruined what should have been a relaxing beachside lunch. For a restaurant in such a prime location, this level of service is completely unacceptable.

I hope the management and ownership take this feedback seriously — there is real potential here, but sadly, the service does not reflect it.

We ate here twice with friends and had fish all round both times! The first visit the meal was good and the waiter (bar man on our second visit) was friendly and professional. A nothing special but nice meal. The second visit was very poor, food cold with one of the young male waiters bringing food before the table had been cleared from starters, we had to help clear the table, he then stood around complaining about his colleagues! Bizarre! Not only was the food cold but just not the same quality as the first visit. Disappointing. I'd give the first visit a 3/4, the second 1! An overall 3 is...
