We were very disappointed by Restaurant Raíces and the lunch we had earlier today. After having read various excellent reviews, we decided to try the restaurant. Although the position of the restaurant is superb with incredible views of the surrounding mountains, the food was average at best. The menu was quite limited - which can be an advantage - but several of the dishes we tried to order were unavailable and the food we received was mediocre. To start, no salads or croquetas were available, the Patatas Bravas were undoubtedly frozen and the salmon and advocado 'pincho' was tasteless. We tried to order ribs, but again were told they were unavailable. The pork we settled on was tasty, but quite fatty, and the vegetables overcooked and mushy. Although the service was friendly and more or less attentive, we consider that - although the restaurant is not 'expensive' - for the price we paid the food was poor quality. Additionally we did not feel like COVID measures were taken seriously enough. Unfortunately we would not recommend this restaurant to other...

Our visit to Raíces was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, María and Carmen welcomed us like family, making the entire experience warm, personal, and unforgettable.

The food? Simply life-changing. Every dish was a masterpiece, but the highlights were the tender goat, the melt-in-your-mouth carrillada, and the perfectly cooked ciervo—each one more exceptional than the last. Even the humble tomato salad was elevated to something extraordinary, bursting with flavor and freshness that left us speechless. And let’s not forget the desserts! They were the perfect finale to an unforgettable meal, balancing innovation with tradition.
