Restaurante Siete Puertas — Restaurant in Llanes

On the way west we stopped by in lovely Llanes specifically to eat some good Lobster Paella / Lobster with rice. This restaurant had good reviews, so we decided to have our lunch here.

The place was pretty busy and the outside tables almost all taken. But we got one of the few remaining tables luckily. Our Bulldog was welcome here as well.

Since I was driving, we just ordered a small bottle of white wine and some sparkling water. Soon we got serve some tasty bread and a small appetizer (Chorizo - which was delicious). Ordered the Lobster rice for two (Arroz Bogavante). It was prepared freshly and there was a bit of waiting time. Usual for this kind of meal. When it arrived it was already impressive by the look. But not only the look - it tasted excellent as well. The lobster was cooked to perfection. Equally impressive was the broth the rice was cooked in. Wonderful, rich seafood broth. That meal was a real treat. Everything we hoped for and more.

Staff was fantastic. Took care of us very well and made us feel welcome.

Book it in advance. Very friendly and nice service. Food is definitely to try, tasty and well prepared. We got a daily menu with abundant options, ending lunch properly filled in. Sea food was delicious (the sea soup deserves a try), fabada was so tasty you will wish there would be more. A second dish (bacalao with pisto) was overly salted, too much for all of us at the table. Pity. The atmosphere is not something to notice, tables are placed one next to the other with not too much space left. Overall, I would recommend it, I will definitely go back to try...

Realmente atención deplorable ante un error por su parte a la hora de apuntar una reserva El pasado martes hicimos una reserva para comer el domingo 15. Ante la petición de reservar para comer se nos pregunta qué horario queremos 13:30 o 15:30 decimos que a las 15:30 para 4 pax. Nos pide el teléfono y lo apunta en un libro. Claramente al decirnos los turnos ha entendido que es para comer. Llega el domingo y nos presentamos a las 15:28 solicitando la reserva a mi nombre y nos dicen que con ese nombre solo tiene una reserva a las 10:30 de la noche con mi número de teléfono. Les indicamos como se dio la situación de la reserva y que no entendíamos como puede estar apuntado a las 22:30 cuando claramente se nos preguntó qué turno de comida queríamos. Claramente el error es suyo a la hora de apuntar la reserva. Pero no solo ni han tratado de buscar una posible solución sino que además han pasado olímpicamente de nosotros; encima se han quedado creyendo que tenían razón. El trato ha sido pésimo. Hemos estado varias veces pero después de esto tengo claro que no voy a volver. Un poquito más de profesionalidad no estaría nada mal. El llevar un negocio de restauración no solo e servir las mesas. Hay que saber atender adecuadamente a la clientela e intentar buscar soluciones. Nadie que tiene una reserva, según ellos a las 10:30, se presenta a las 15:30, por lo tanto claramente el error es de ellos y tendrían que haber tenido algún tipo de detalle, cosa que no han tenido.
