I don't often leave reviews, but after visiting this place several times, I feel a bit let down. The tapas I have tried have all been fine, and the outdoor garden makes it a very special place: Such nice outdoor seating is unusual for Lloret and especially in the town centre. As a customer in the winter, I always found the service very acceptable. However, the last few times I have been there (normally around 4pm) I have felt the staff would rather not serve customers. A week ago, I was the only customer in the garden, and there were two staff members behind the bar, and after around 5 minutes I was still waiting to be served while they talked to each other. I was only served when I was about to leave, as I did not have much time.
I decided this was just bad luck and returned a few days ago to get the same treatment, There was a table with two people and the rest of the garden was empty. Again, two staff members, who did not acknowledge me or respond to my greeting. They were talking instead of serving, but this time I did not wait so long as I went to the bar to order. The waiter was quite unfriendly and looked at me like I was something nasty on the bottom of his shoe. The beer he served was mainly froth (espuma) and rather than wait for it to settle and put more beer in he gave me half a glass of beer.
I have lived in Lloret for many years and expect the service to decline in the summer as staff are hot, busy, and getting tired of tourists, but the staff here are very disappointing. There are plenty of them, and the working conditions are not uncomfortable, I think. Read moreStopped by to get an oat milk cappuccino (I’m allergic to dairy). I approached the waitress to ask if they make them. While she did say yes, her tone felt irritated, and she almost barked at me that I had to take a seat and wait for her to come to me — not approach her directly.
I sat down at a table which, by the way, wasn’t really cleaned. Flies were everywhere, including on the pastries in the display. When my cappuccino arrived, it unfortunately didn’t taste good at all.
When I went to pay, I didn’t realize they had an automatic coin machine. I handed my coins to the same waitress at the cashier, which seemed to annoy her as well — she impatiently pointed at where to put them in the machine.

La coca de virutas está rica pero en cambio si pides el plato de Bellota, lo pagas como tal pero debe de ser Duroc, y eso es algo que no me gusta, por eso dejé de pedirlo. Al caso: sábado 22:50, realizo un pedido para llevar a casa a través de Just Eat. Nos confirman el pedido desde la plataforma y retiran el importe de mi cuenta. Al pasar los minutos y ver que el tiempo de espera para la entrega va incrementando decido llamar a las 23:45. La persona que me atiende, en tono jocoso, me dice que el pedido lleva desde las 23:10 esperando a ser recogido. Y le comento que si me voy a tener que comer la cena fría, que si me preparan de nuevo el pedido caliente voy a buscarlo yo, y me dice que es que duda de que venga nadie (repartidor) a recogerlo y que ya no hay cocinera. Empieza a decir que Just Eat trabajan así, que les pasa mucho…Y digo yo? Si es la dinámica de trabajo que tiene Just Eat con vosotros, no deberíais cambiar la empresa con la que trabajáis o, directamente, no ofrecer este servicio? Aunque bueno, en realidad, no lo ofrecéis. Cuando le dije que como me iban a abonar el importe, me dijo que tenía que hablar con Just Eat. Y efectivamente tras 3horas pude recuperar mi dinero. A todo esto el responsable estaba al otro lado y no fue capaz de ponerse al teléfono, disculparse o intentar solucionarlo, pues vivimos a 4 calles. El camarero se limitó a decir que no era su culpa (ni una disculpa) y que encima le sorprendió que fuera a dejar esta reseña. Total, que habiendo hecho un pedido con antelación a las 22:50 para que llegara después de trabajar y lo tuviera listo, fueron las 00 y sin cena, sin una disculpa y sin preocupación alguna del servicio a domicilio nefasto que dan.
Para mí, se acabaron los vermuts y cenas...
