Restaurant Al Freskito — Restaurant in Lloret de Mar

We have just arrived back home. My honest opinion is. The bar staff was quite rude because we was all-inclusive apart from one member. It was obvious they treated the paying customers and people on different board basis differently. That didn't matter on nationality either.The entertainment team were very nice and polite. We was lucky with our room as it was a decent size but a tiny balcony. Although our friends had to change room due to the size of the bathroom. Restaurant!! Avoid like the plague. The food was awful it really was to the point one night we had chicken and it was still raw and 2 of us was quite poorly from eating the salmon. When complained about the chicken the chef just dismissed it. The snack bar however was very simple but you could eat it without being poorly. The chicken nuggets were lovely. There was 6 of us so just made our holiday as enjoyable as we could. Over all I would return to Lloret de mar as it is a lovely place but I would not return back to this hotel again. My husband and I visited this restaurant on the last evening in Lloret de Mar due to all the praises in the reviews, however the experience has exceeded all our expectations! The staff is super professional and welcoming, the food is top notch - we tried Croquetas de Boletus for a starter and Paella Marinera for the main course - both were a real delight! The portions are really generous, so it is better if you come with a bigger company so you could taste more different options :) We paired the food with vino de casa (white and red) - 9.90Eur/bottle - both were delicious! Was expecting good things from here after reading the reviews but unfortunately was very disappointed. Our waiter was very nice but unfortunately our paella was terrible. The muscles were cremated and there was pieces of hard what felt like uncooked rice in there. The chicken was so undercooked it literally had blood in it. We sent it back and the waiter was very apologetic and offered us the option of choosing something else but we decided to leave it.
