Restaurant Amèrica — Restaurant in Lloret de Mar

Advertises kids meals but once seated they refused this for my 12 year old who has a very small appetite, they said it was only for very little children so she didn't order much. Not many tables filled when we arrived but we still waited some time for our order to be taken. Salmon was nice but veg too salty and missing potatoes which another customer had on their dish. No one came to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. Waited a long time for plates to be cleared then again for dessert menus and so long for them to come back that we didn't order the dessert and coffee we had wanted and two members of our group had to leave because even after asking for the bill three times no one had come. We ended up spending a lot less there than we would have. Really disappointing meal and sad because we came last year and really enjoyed the food but especially the friendly manner of staff, my daughter had asked specifically to go back as she had positive memories but it was definitely not the same this time. It very much felt like we weren't welcome and were being ignored. My partner and I decided to pop in here tonight on our holiday after our hotel put on some abysmal dinner, I'm very glad they did so or else we would never have stumbled on this little gem of a place in Lloret De Mar.

From the moment we arrived the service was top notch, they made sure we were comfortable and that we had plenty of time to decide from the extensive menu. We settled on having two strawberry daiquiris to start and two main course dinners.

I myself had a 1/2 roast chicken and fries and it was the nicest tasting chicken I've had since the holiday began, couldn't fault the portion size at all and was thoroughly stuffed when I finished it.

My partner, a lover of sea food had the pasta of the sea dish and she was truly in her element with the amount that was included, I've never seen her so happy in a restaurant, this experience alone made for a wonderful date night.

The staff are very friendly, very warm and kind and go above and beyond to serve you and make sure you are having a great time. Our Spanish is non existent but they made us feel right at home as if we were regulars here.

Give it a go, well worth the money and I wish I had more opportunities to support this business...

Went there last night, we were searching for a restaurant that is catering for gluten free options, so my friend had a normal pizza, which he said was delicious, and I the gluten free, which was the best gluten free pizza I've ever had, I was also told there were pasta gluten free options and lasagna also. The waiters that were working, were very friendly and very helpful, Bottom line, if your gluten intolerant like me, or indeed celiac,and your in this area, and your tried of carrying, bread and other gluten free bits and pieces in you bag, before you go to a restaurant, This is the place to go, even if your not gluten free, menue is quite good, you'll enjoy the experience, for those of us who are gluten free without choice, this restaurant was superbe, in every...
