Restaurant Can Sabata — Restaurant in Lloret de Mar

Came down here on Tuesday afternoon at 12.50 with no booking, (Do not try to gamble on this place having spare tables, they were fully booked) However they gave us 1 HR 30 mins to sit down and eat before the next booking arrived.

As soon as we sat down there was a queue out of the establishment, they do a 2 course menu for £16.90 per person and the food was amazing. Great flavours for a very reasonable price compared to some places in Lloret de mar

We had the cod fritters and grilled Sardines Both were of fantastic quality

We then shared Seafood Paella and watching it made fresh in the overlooking kitchen was a great sign that these people care about their food

Only downside was the amount of fly's around but that isn't the restaurants fault so we can let that slide

It seems to be a hidden gem as I think we were the only English people in here.

So glad the manager managed to fit us in so thank you to the manager (blue shirt) and the rest of the staff for an amazing meal..

Our favorite rice restaurant in the area. We have been here many times and were never disappointed. They offer a "menu del día" during the week as well as an upgraded version on Saturday & Sunday. All dishes are absolutely delicious, freshly cooked with quality ingredients. Always tasty, always very fair portions. We never left hungry 😅 The service is also fabulous 👌🏼 - every waitress & waiter always is very friendly and up for a quick chat, even it can be packed at times, smiling, fast, attentive. You could not ask for more! The location is also very nice, a typical masía with 2 floors, big terrace and outdoor kitchen for the rice dishes. Reservation and small car or motorcycle recommended! 😉

Service isn’t good at all, most of staff members do not speak English, what makes it hard to order food, if you’re a tourist. We tried to order food with a lady who was responsible for the area where our table was, she literally could not say anything! I had to look for a supervisor who ended up a brilliant employee in a blue shirt, he was super nice and the only person who managed to sort out the situation. On the other side is their manager, an old, mean guy, who I think has a miserable life. He does not smile to people when he ie supposed to meet and great them. About the food that we had, it was like 3/10 tbf. I had a steak and it was super dry, my friend had a salad which was nice and calamari those tasted...
