Restaurant Nou Cala Blava — Restaurant in Llucmajor

I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, and while the food itself was quite good, the overall experience was unfortunately disappointing.

From the beginning, there were several details that made us feel more like an inconvenience than welcome guests. For instance, the conditions regarding the use of the pool or the use of the parking. This caused some confusion and left us feeling slightly misled.

More concerning, however, was the attitude and attention of the staff. Throughout our visit, some of the waiters forgot several of our requests. Even worse, at one point, a member of the staff shouted at us across the terrace to point out that the order had been entered incorrectly—as if it were our fault. It was uncomfortable and frankly quite unprofessional.

It’s a shame, because the kitchen clearly does a good job. The dishes were tasty and well-presented. But in hospitality, good food is only part of the experience. The way customers are treated matters just as...

Had a bad meal at this place a couple of years ago when let's just say they even managed to burn the bread given out at the start of the meal. Thought enough time had passed to give the place another go. Everything took a long time, and the food was really average, just definitely not worth the prices being charged. However our biggest complaint has to be that when our well mannered kids on our instruction asked the waitress to help them get their preferred ice cream out of the freezer, the waitress didn't realise my 11 year old daughter is fluent in Spanish and the waitress unknowingly said out loud to her colleague "these kids are so annoying". I mean what kind of service is that for a family restaurant? The meal ended up costing well over 250 euros and we left a 20 euro tip, needless to say we wish we hadn't, as we only found out what had been said about our kids on the way home. We won't...

What a place! I wish I could give it 10 stars! Got here by accident while randomly looking to get an octopus, but I need to admit that's one of my luckiest accidents in life! 😱 Still searching for the right words to describe this unbelievable food experience, the quality of the food is beyond amazing; the freshness makes you feel like they've grabbed it straight from the water. Despite the high-quality food, prices are right on point! If I were living in that area, I would come to that place every day! The tables are near the swimming pool, which is also amazing! It would be inappropriate not to mention the cutest and coolest waitress ever - Jaqueline, who hugged me, sent me kisses, and took care of me as if I were a prince!
