Casa Pedro — Restaurant in Los Realejos

🇪🇦 Hoy fuimos a un restaurante que hemos querido probar hace mucho tiempo. Hoy fue el día y chacho, ¡valió la pena!

Si un día pasas por La Longuera/Los Realejos y te apetece comer, entra en "Mi Guachinche Casa Pedro". No te decepcionará. Como mi esposa y yo seguimos una dieta cetogénica, no siempre es fácil para nosotros encontrar algo de comer cuando estamos fuera. Restringir los carbohidratos cuando preparar comida en casa es fácil, pero a veces se convierte en una molestia al comer fuera. Aquí teníamos mucho para elegir. Al final fuimos por un combo mediterráneo/ceto. Aguacate con salmón ahumado, ensalada mixta y caballa a la espalda. ¡Delicioso! Servicio atento y un propietario que realmente se enorgullece de lo que hace. Si a eso le sumamos que comimos y bebimos por 33 €, será difícil encontrar alimentos de esa calidad a ese precio. 👌🏼😉

🇩🇪 Heute sind wir in ein Restaurant gegangen, das wir schon lange ausprobieren wollten. Heute war es endlich soweit und mein lieber Scholli, war es das wert!

Wenn du jemals durch La Longuera/Los Realejos fährst und Lust hast, etwa zu essen, probier mal das "Mi Guachinche Casa Pedro". Du wirst nicht enttäuscht sein. Da meine Frau und ich beide eine ketogene Diät machen, ist es für uns nicht immer einfach, etwas zu essen zu finden, wenn wir auswärts essen. Das Einschränken von Kohlenhydraten beim Kochen zu Hause ist einfach, wird aber manchmal beim auswärts essen zum Ärgernis. Hier dagegen hatten wir eine große Auswahl. Am Ende haben wir uns für eine Mittelmeer/Keto-Kombination entschieden. Avocado mit Räucherlachs, gemischter Salat und gebratene Makrele. Köstlich! Aufmerksamer Service und ein Besitzer, der sein Handwerk mit Stolz betreibt. Hinzu kommt, dass wir für 33 Euro gegessen und getrunken haben. Es wird dir schwer fallen, Essen dieser Qualität zu diesem Preis zu finden. 👌🏼😉

🇬🇧 Today we went to a restaurant that we've been wanting to try for a long time. Today was the day and heck, was it worth it!

If you ever pass through La Longuera/Los Realejos and you feel like a bite to eat, pop into "Mi Guachinche Casa Pedro". You won't be disappointed. Since my wife and I are both on a ketogenic diet it is not always easy for us to find something to eat when we're out. Restricting carbohydrates when you're cooking at home is easy, but it becomes a nuisance sometimes when eating out. Here we had plenty to choose from. In the end we went for a mediterranean/keto combo. Avocado with smoked salmon, a mixed salad and fried mackerel. Delicious! Attentive service and an owner who really takes pride in what he does. Add to that, that we ate and drank for €33 and you'll be hard pressed to find food of that quality to that...

Only discovered the concept of Guachinches on last day of our stay in Tenerife Puerto De La Cruz from a local. She said in town you will have Indian Italian Chinese and various cuisines but not Canarian! We were recommended a G but it was little further away and I found Pedro on Google….it is number 7 on top ten G’s in Tenerife and it was well worth the small ride from Cruz..(10 min in cab)…we had a maize stew with meat, a grilled Pork, the goat in stew…it was heavy and it was cheap! And the whole point is the wine…house red was as good as anything I have recently tasted and my wife’s house white was equally good. Highly recommended! Phenomenal!

Food is great. Special acknowledgment to the goat, a very local cuisine according to the owner, is perfection. Perfect spiciness (not hot) and the meat is soft. 🤤 Beer was good, especially paired with the green pepper. Cheese is quite pungent with garlic so it tastes amazing.

Service, amazing. All the staff are very nice and really accommodating for us who don’t speak Spanish at all. They also gave a few free stuff like mint chocolate and some bubbly rosé. The owner gave us extra chocolate wafer ❤️ ❤️

As its name, the place is quite homey. With the staff friendliness the place is perfect.

We will definitely come back here again to try other food.
