Biggest SCAM and the worst experience we’ve ever had.. very rude staff that made us feel very uncomfortable not only by their looks but also the way they talked to us and treated us! Very rude and so racist!! It’s our second visit, but our 1st visit wasn’t that bad.. the Buffet’s prices are fixed, we went there (just like the first time), no one of the staff informed us about their “new rules” which are if you couldn’t finish your food you have to pay extra for them.. keeping in mind that the buffet price is already not cheap (20€ including the obligatory drink per person), anyway we took our food and everything but since everything wasn’t fresh and we didn’t like some of the food we couldn’t finish them.. then the staff came to us saying that we have to finish the food otherwise we’ll have to pay extra for them but in a very very bad manner.. we told them that we’re gonna pay what we have to pay but we refused to pay any extra fees since no one informed us about it, but then they mentioned that it’s written in the walls.. sorry but in a such crowded place there is no way that you can notice that and it’s written in a black background that makes it harder to notice.. we asked them to call the police cause it was literally a scam no matter what.. the mistake we made is that we didn’t call the police ourselves, rather they called them.. and we’re sure they called the ones they know.. because they took a while to arrive and once they arrived the owner went outside to meet them and they were greeting each other and laughing together, once they entered to restaurant they didn’t even listen to us they were directly speaking in Spanish (we’re tourists for only 2 days we don’t speak spanish) saying that if you eat you have to pay, what the heck!!! You didn’t even listen to what happened, how could you judge something just by listening to one side.. we told them first that we don’t speak Spanish and we were shocked with there racist answer and behaviour saying in a very rude what that “you are in Malaga you have to speak Spanish!!!” Although we mentioned that we are tourists the policewoman and her colleague were so racist, so from their behaviour we understood that they won’t be fair toward us, which was the case unfortunately! 3 police officers no one of them made an effort to make the communication easier or listened to what happened, they simply forced us to pay without listening.. and the owner was laughing with them and he gave them bottles of water in front of us talking in Spanish and laughing together.. anyway, we left there and the police were staying there for more than 10mins.. such a horrible and racist experience from both the restaurant and the...
Read moreToday was my first day we had our lunch there at 2:30 PM. The food is okay nothing special. I had various grilled seafood and boy! they were from frozen and full of sand. The chef is Chinese and doesn't speak Spanish! He was tired and got frustrated with clients and yelled to clients. Just because he is incapable to speak Spanish, he has no rights to yell to clients. We all pay for the meal, it is not free. The owner maybe need to hire employees who can communicate with clients. I didn't enjoy the grilled seafood at all. There were two plates of sushi rolls and was put exactly next to raw seafood section! Wow where is the health inspector? The dim sum were empty and clients need to ask for. Seriously? We ordered Chinese hot tea not a regular single pack of tea! and when I asked for hot water, they said "I have to pay extra for hot water". I was shocked! I never heard this before in any cafeterias, bars, and restaurants. The cashier said "they don't want clients abuse the free HOT WATER ... what the heck is that? Who drink hot water! There is a new law that clients have a rights asking for plain glass of water from tap or faucet. They post on the wall that won't allow clients to ask for a glass of water from the faucet. I definitely won't be back! This would be my first day and...
Read moreI recently dined at Asador City Wok in Malaga, and it was a delightful experience! The buffet offered an impressive variety of dishes, ranging from fresh seafood, sushi, and a wide selection of meats to an extensive array of salads, sides, and desserts. The highlight was definitely the live cooking station, where you could choose your favorite ingredients and have them grilled to perfection right in front of you. The quality of the food was generally good, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the grilled seafood and the selection of Asian dishes, which were flavorful and satisfying. The dessert section was also a pleasant surprise, with a variety of sweets, fruits, and even ice cream to choose from. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and welcoming, perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a casual and plentiful meal. The staff was attentive and quick to clear plates and refill drinks, ensuring that the dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Asador City Wok offers great value for money with its wide selection of tasty options and a comfortable dining environment. I would recommend it for anyone in Malaga looking for a buffet experience with a diverse range of choices. I’ll definitely be back...
