I've eaten at the Piratería lots of times and it's one of my favourite places to go with a view of the sea just in front of me.
It has amazing empanadas de Gambas, my favourite! I've tried other dishes like Calamares, which l love but the prawn empanadas win hands down for me with a glass of vino Cordoba de Flor ( white wine).
Good service, and very friendly staff with Antonio Jose and other team members. It's such a lovely, relaxed and peaceful environment whether eating alone or with friends. I always feel welcome and at home there...
I would definitely recommend La Piratería, whether for a glass of something nice whilst watching the sea and people watching or catching a quick bite or spending a few hours here...

They served us a side plate of olives and they were the best olives I have ever eaten. Totally authentic. The store has a very nice view to the ocean.
