UPDATE: Lowering it from 2 - 1 star, as I just noticed on the invoice I kept, they automatically included "10% tip" on the bill!! This is absolutely unacceptable. If I wanna give a tip, I'll decide by my free will, if the service was good... which is absolutely was not (review below)!! And they just deduct it without telling you? Wow. I do not understand the good reviews!!! Actually a rip-off!!!

Very nice atmosphere by the beach. Decent food. But not much else was that good. The entrecote steak I had was among the most expensive items. Yet nobody asked how I wanted it (I forgot to specify myself) nor asked what side I wanted. Was just chance I got the one I wanted. Once I mentioned it wasn't that good, the comment was met with indifference. In generel, the staff was not good. The lady responsible for my table seemed uninterested at best, rude at worst. Definitely didn't feel welcome here nor a valued guest. I general, even though the food was tasty and the location great, the staff did their best to sour the experience. When I asked for the bill, nobody came for 20 minutes...

Makian Beach es un encantador restaurante ubicado en pleno paseo marítimo del barrio El Palo en Málaga, ofreciendo una experiencia culinaria excepcional frente al mar. Decidimos visitar este lugar para almorzar y quedamos gratamente sorprendidos por la calidad y diversidad de su menú.

Comenzamos nuestra comida con las croquetas caseras, que resultaron ser una delicia. Su elaboración, cremosidad y sabor eran simplemente espectaculares, haciendo de este entrante un imprescindible. También probamos las gyozas de langostino, que estaban perfectamente cocinadas y llenas de sabor, y el pan bao de pull pork, una explosión de texturas y sabores que nos dejó muy satisfechos.

Como plato principal, nos recomendaron la hamburguesa de vaca madurada 5 semanas. Servida en un pan brioche, con mermelada de beicon casera, queso cheddar y Provolone, y aderezada con su especial salsa makian, esta hamburguesa superó nuestras expectativas en todos los sentidos.

Sin embargo, el plato que realmente se robó el espectáculo fue el canelón de carrillada y foie sobre puré casero de patatas y puerro. La suavidad de la carrillada combinada con el foie y el puré perfectamente sazonado crearon una armonía de sabores que hizo de este plato nuestro favorito indiscutible.

Para culminar nuestra experiencia, optamos por la tarta de queso de oreo y chocolate blanco. Este postre fue el final perfecto para una comida memorable, con una textura sedosa y un sabor equilibrado.

En resumen, Makian Beach no solo ofrece una ubicación privilegiada frente al mar, sino también una oferta gastronómica que destaca por su calidad y creatividad. Es un lugar que definitivamente recomendamos para quienes buscan una experiencia culinaria única en Málaga.
