Taybo Bagels & Coffee — Restaurant in Málaga

One of the loveliest cafes I've been to in Málaga! The coffee is excellent — clearly made with care — and the people running it are very kind and super fun to chat with.

While ordering my coffee, I got to hear the story behind the monkey painting in their cafe — based on a mural originally commissioned for their old location. They tried to move it but could only save parts of it, so they got the same artist to repaint it and add a new piece. I even left with a sticker that ties into the story — such a sweet touch.

The ambiance is super welcoming, with good music playing in the background and a dedicated work area if you want to get some laptop time in. They’ve really thought of everything. And if you're hungry, they’ve got pastries and savory breakfast options to choose from.

This coffee shop is my absolute favourite place in Malaga! It's the only spot I keep coming back to, and if they had a garden, I might not see the rest of the town as I would spend all my time here. As someone who's not a coffee expert, I appreciate a delicious coffee without being too bitter, and I've tried various local shops. This one stands out as the best! The staff here is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. I particularly want to mention the lovely lady who often serves me—she speaks English fluently, which makes ordering a breeze.
