La Casa de la Abuela Rosy is like a 5-star hotel wrapped in the cozy charm of a traditional B&B!

Ricardo is a communication wizard - he's there for you from booking to checkout, answering questions faster than you can ask them! The flat is spotless, with daily cleaning and a constantly restocked kitchen full of drinks, fresh fruit and yummy treats. It's just like staying at your dear grandma’s house!

Located only 6 mins walk to Plaza Merced. The decor is a delightful mix of charm and nostalgia, and the quiet location means peaceful nights. You might bump into other guests in the common areas or on the street - it's all part of the fun! It was delightful to have it ready for Malaga Feria, with traditional abanicos, dresses and mantons.

Ricardo and Gloria are absolute gems. They don't just welcome you; they adopt you into their family! And if you're traveling with a furry friend, you're in for a treat. Ricardo's dog-sitting service is a godsend, allowing you to explore Malaga worry-free while your pup has a blast with his new canine pals.

The bedroom got a bit toasty during our unusually warm stay in Malaga (warmer and more humid than usual), but with fans and plenty of cool drinks on hand, it was no biggie. Plus, the living room is always refreshingly cool - the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.

Free parking can be a bit tricky, but the nearby hospital car park is a great option. Just book in advance for a good price!

In a nutshell, La Casa de la Abuela Rosy feels like home away from home - run by the world's most attentive and loving grandma! It's clean, cozy, and packed with treats. Plus, it's a paradise for pets!

Never, in many years, have I seen, experienced, or stayed in a place as unique as Casa de La Abuela - it wasn't only the decorations, or the extremely nostalgic and cosy "Abuela" (grandmother in Spanish) vibes, nor the chill and laid back atmosphere, or the fantastic breakfast options (Ricardo spares no expense nor effort in making sure the kitchen is stocked to the brim for breakfast every day), nor the truly epic cleanliness standard from the rooms to the kitchen, to the obsessively clean bathrooms to the floors, all which would satisfy the highest hygiene expectations (and I don't mean this lightly - myself being extremely picky in this regard).... it was simply the mixture of it all together. Truly, the only thing missing was the Abuela in the kitchen, pinching your cheeks while spoiling you and force-feeding you tasty food. The amazing attentiveness of Ricardo, the sense of both freedom and pamperness you get here you will not find anywhere else. You may stay in any hotel, and may it be 5 or even 7 stars, may it be in Japan, or in Dubai, sure it may be great and you'll feel like a king guest.... but only here you may feel truly at home while away from your home. It's already been a week since we left and we already miss Casa de la Abuela and Ricardo. We will definitely come again in the future, next time with our four-legged boy! All the best and we will see each...

An truely exquite and extremely personalised service. 💯

Missed me flight, so was forced to stay in Malaga for a night. Then my phone died the moment I made the the booking... had a pretty horrible 24hrs before coming to la casa de la abuela.

Although on this occasion I booked though an external website, next time I will go DIRECT as I am sure the host "Ricardo" will do me a much better deal... hence I would recommend giving him a private call before using any other third party sites!

la casa de la abuela-meaning "Grandma's house", it was exactly as it said on the tin PLUS so much more. Ricardo was a true gentleman- kind, patient, full of energy and extremely helpful. He went above and beyond treating me with respect and futher contacting his friends to help me with errands due to my inability to speak spanish.

Furthermore, he was very much focused on making me feel at come and ensuring I was very well taken care of. With extremely clean facilaties and lots of food, I really appreciated coming back to the relaxed home.

Ricardo, honestly you deserve to be the best bed and breakfast in Malaga. Complete freedom and autonomy while providing for everything that I could have wanted.. Great facilities, very high pressure and hot showers. Plus lots of marvellous tea!

Best of luck to you Ricardo and see you when I come to...

It’s a beautiful apartment with beautiful decorations, and Ricardo (host) maintains the place very well. I have never found a single hair or sand on the floor✨✨🧹 He was always so attentive, caring, and full of helpful information. We went to 3 recommended places by him (he even helped us to make reservations in one of them), and we had excellent experiences in all those three places! You can totally trust his palates too. The room was not so spacious but not small either, and having a good breeze from the window both days and nights. The breakfast was also the part we loved from the place. He fills an entire big fridge with all kind of food and fruits you can imagine for the breakfast. Plus one big cupboard for the different tea selections, coffee, biscuits, magdalenas, and so on. We couldn’t decide what to eat from so many options and we were full after every breakfast🥭🍓🍌🍈🍳🥓🍞 We left the place this noon, but we already miss Malaga and la casa de la abuela Rosy.
