We booked this restaurant for my friends hen weekend on a Friday night. The restaurant itself is beautiful, set in a lovely old building with a gorgeous garden. It was very quiet for a Friday night with very few tables occupied at 9pm but we figured it was early for Spanish people so probably would fill up later in the night (it didn't and there's obviously a reason for this) We had some nice olives and bread to start along with some lovely white wine for the table. Unfortunately that's where the positives about the food ended. The staff were very nice though but we had a hard time getting their attention throughout the night and waited for some time to make orders etc. Some of the group had the croquettes which were really tasty but the tuna bao was not good, fish tasted off and just very bland. For mains, 5 of the group ordered the sea bass but were told that it was out so grouper was replacing it. They were advised by the waiter that it wasn't similar to bass but was very good. Unfortunately the fish turned out to be inedible and when we advised the waiter, he just walked off and didn't return for some time. We had to call him back to the table to ask if he was going to take away the dishes. He didn't but he did say that he could speak to the manager. Again, we had to wait but eventually the chef came out and advised that basically that's what grouper tastes like and if we didn't like it then we shouldn't have ordered it. They took half of the cost of the fish off the bill but this really isn't good enough. They should have removed all of it from the bill but we had been there for so long at this stage we just paid it. The other mains such as the steak and goat were good. So were the salads and potatoes but there was no sauce or sides served with the meats which was unfortunate for the price. We ordered a steak and fish, and some side dishes. Compared to us being the first order in, and only table at the time, it took a while.. but ok, we thought.
The food arrived and it looked super. But that’s about it.
The steak was overcooked, tender yes, but tasted weird - like the meat was to old or something else was off. Not good. My fish dish was not eatable. It was so beautifully looking, but tasted like undercooked rubber. Normally I do not like sending stuff back, but this I could not eat. The waiter was kind enough and asked if I would like something else, and recommended the sea bass instead. Ok, I said. So he took my plate, and since there were only 2-3 tables, I figured okay, they will hurry up and make my dish, so I can still eat with my boyfriend. Unfortunately it took like 40 min for the grilled piece of fish to arrive. We considered leaving many times before the fish came, but I was still hungry. Finally the fish came. But again it looked beautiful and tasted bad; like it had been just defrozen, it was so dry, and the dish al together was just weird tasting and very bland.
We had so been looking forward to visiting this place, because of all the good reviews. Fooled.
The bill came. We felt robbed. Expensive and Inedible! And extra charge for bead and olives that are just brought to the table.
Such a shame, the place it self has such potential, beautiful and calm surroundings. Lovely waiters, lovely music. But sadly I wish we hadn’t payed but just got up and left.

Read moreDecidimos celebrar el bautizo de mi hija el día 1 de junio en este restaurante comentar que sino queréis pasar un mal trago no lo hagáis o si lo hacéis no cometáis el error de pagar todo antes porque es lo que os van a pedir claro tontos no son, ( Adolfo os meterá presión también para que elijáis los platos principales para que todo salga perfecto ja-ja)
pedimos el menú 3 de precio 62€ incrementado porque se cambió las alcachofas por pan bao y esto incrementó el precio a 66€ a esto sumarle 4€ por llevar nuestra tarta y sacar los cubiertos.
Pues después de comentar esto os relató mi pesadilla empezamos con los entrantes jamón ibérico 100% de bellota como habréis visto si queréis seguir el caso en anteriores fotos no hay que ser muy experto para saber que este jamón no era lo que dicen además de cortado mucho antes,
hasta aquí seguimos comiendo salió el pan bao que lo habíamos comido en otra ocasiones y evidentemente tampoco era lo que debía ser…y por último de entrante los fideos con langostinos ya aquí la gente empezó a dejar la comida los fideos fríos y sin sabor se quedó todo este plato en la mesa.
Para rematar la faena sacan los principales corvina y solomillo platos que sacaron fríos, y la carne quemada dura y seca nadie se comió estos platos ( si veis fotos son perfectamente el meme de cuando lo ves en AliExpress y cuando te llega a casa )
en este momento decidí hablar con el encargado del evento Adolfo que como voy adjuntar en las fotos me dice que tengo toda la razón y que esta no es la calidad y el servicio que ellos tienen, llega la encargada una persona altiva y déspota que nos comenta que en otro evento de arriba nadie se ha quejado ( una de las mentiras… coincidí con algunos comensales en el parking y me comentaron que la comida estaba malísima) después me comentó que la carne en estos eventos no se pregunta el término ( cosa que Adolfo me desmintió que no era así), después de todo esto me llamó el Señor Pepe Nalda Gerente del establecimiento y que no había podido estar en el local ese día en la llamada me vendió la moto diciéndome que nos reuniríamos y que se solucionaría todo, ( claro cuando eliges al equipo por interés personal y no profesional pasan estas cosas) esto seguramente no lo enseñen en la escuela de hostelería de Barcelona o en la Consula.
total nos fuimos del local esperando respuesta el viernes 7 decidí escribirle y me comenta que dado que había puesto una hoja de reclamaciones este asunto se le escapa de su control que me hablarían de central le digo que de acuerdo que les doy de plazo una semana, total que hoy jueves le tengo que hablar nuevamente que nadie se ha puesto en contacto conmigo y de repente a los 10 m,me llega un correo del restaurante (no hay que ser muy listo para saber que no hay ninguna central que lo escribió el ) frío y sin empatía pidiendo disculpas y dejando entrever que dieron soluciones os comento las soluciones: sacaron dos botellas de cava que nadie bebió ni pidió lo que si tomamos 3/4 copas y me fui sin pagar 4 comensales que faltaban por pagar y me comentan que con eso ya está arreglado que pretendíais que pagáramos encima que no hemos comido? Aparte el postre del menú decidimos que no lo pusieran cosa que también se ahorraron.
