Unfortunately we arrived 15 minutes late for our reservation as we were coming directly from the airport, and had been behind schedule. We immediately received a negative attitude and commentary about this from the host, though the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived… After settling in and reading the menu, I explained some dietary requirements (I am plant based) and was shocked to find that clearly our waiter had some anger towards vegans as he made some vaguely threatening and offensive comments about my eating habits (with a hand gesture implied that he would snap the neck of a vegan- I wanted to take this as a misplaced joke but his raised voice and further commentary that I am not welcome in his country made it feel less so like a joke, especially as I was clearly upset at this point). I felt he was quite aggressive towards the entire table, and it ruined the experience here before it even truly began. The food itself was subpar, not very well presented, and can only be described as painfully average. I wouldn’t recommend coming here ESPECIALLY if you are plant based as there is nothing on the menu for you and they clearly despise making allowances and adjustments to accommodate for different dietary requirements… I just want to say to this waiter that it is NEVER appropriate to comment on anyone’s dietary choices as you do not know why they may be in place- health restrictions, for example. In 2024 I expect a kinder approach and definite understanding and respect in a European restaurant, especially in a place filled with people from all over the world. I will say that after his outburst, other waiters attended to us who were much kinder and even apologized for the unwarranted cruelty of their colleague. Still, I truly can’t recommend this place as it was hurtful to be so viciously met with hostility and anger. Give it a miss, there are plenty of other places in the area that will provide better food and a...

My family and I stopped here entirely by chance. We were hungry for dinner and it looked like a nice place - fully booked indoors so we sat on the terrace. Tony - one of the brilliant servers put on the patio heater that kept us cosy.

The owner - Santo - who is Italian was very welcoming, super kind and friendly came over to say 'hello' and we had a nice chat about food, his background and the menu.

(Top secret hint: his granma is Mamma Franca and some of her original recipes are being served!!)

They have a lovely menu - lots of deceptively simple dishes - a filled pasta section and other pastas. Meat, fish and seafood, lots of pizzas. Everything is freshly made. All the sauces and fillings are made by the kitchen.

Santo suggested the ravioli filled with roast beef, almonds, chese and lots of other delicious ingredients.

Tony also suggested the chef special of past with oxtail sauce (the oxtail is slow cooked for 48 hours!)

We also had spaghetti carbonara (the authentic Roma original with egg and guanciale ham - not cream!) and prosciutto pizza for my teenage kids.

The food was absolutely delicious, you could taste the fresh ingredients and appreciate the care and love that went into preparing it.

We had delicious desserts at the end, again all made on site in the kitchen.

All in all the bill was about €100 for 4 people, lots of drinks, desserts and coffee.

This is now my favorite italian restaurant in Malaga. Lovely staff, beautiful food and...

Me and my partner ate here on Monday after reading the reviews.

Firstly I would like to thank everyone that reviewed this place.

We walked in to a beautiful restaurant and a welcoming team, Tony and his staff done everything they could to accommodate us, we don’t speak Spanish or Italian , we try but we don’t. We’ve been to Italy and loved the food and to come to Spain and find the food we did is nothing short of amazing. They are putting Calabria Food at the forefront. And we thank you for it.

We started of with little bread rolls and the most AMAZING spread I can not say enough good things about this spread it’s called Rustichella I believe. it’s a party on your taste buds, I’m hunting for the recipe !! I will die trying.

The pasta was great I had mushroom tag with truffle oil. It was cooked to perfection and the taste was amazing.

My wife had Burata rav tomato and mascarpone sauce she said and I quote “ it was very authentic and super moorish”

TIRAMISU WE DID NOT SHARE. We got one each. And It was perfection, creamy and just wonderful. We My wife and I loved it so much we are going again tonight !!!!!!!!!

Also I would like to add that everything here is made fresh, imported ingredients from Italy and using local Spanish produce it’s...

Wowwwww .. I went with my family and it was a really nice experience. Promes, you should go. First all the treat of the waiter from Rodesia was wonderfull really passionate with all the knowledge of the cousine of this restaurant. We ask him for recommend us of some pasta fresca and we follow his suggestions. . Margherite ala meia. Casonceli. Y otro plato del día que estaba hecho con cordero pero no recuerdo su nombre... Además como entrante pedimos queso burrata con rúcula y tomate... Ese queso esta espectacular .... deberiais probarlo. Also we ordered a bottle of italian wine. In this case the waiter recommend us the primitivo red wine... The taste combined was excellent with the dishes with ordered. And also with the first drinks they give us a try of dish: A delicious sauce of spicy homemade iitalian salami with bread for deep in... so Tastyyyy..... Sooooo ...The experience was awesome.. its like they send you to Calabria for a while from the cousine are... If you are think about it.. come...you don't go to regret it. . . . . Second time!! Segunda vez que voy, espectacular la comida, esta vez conseguí sacar la foto del plato antes de comernelo. Pedí "Strongolini calabresi" riquisimo con su toque de picante como a mí me gusta. Volveré a por más.

I went there with a friend as we, both Italians living abroad, were looking for a good pasta restaurant. The food was excellent: portions are definitely larger than expected, the mix of taste is a good and unexpected surprise, pasta is freshly made and you can clearly feel it. We got a great service, too. Prices are maybe just a bit above average, but quality has a price (10-13 € for each pasta, which in the end is totally reasonable) and I am always happy to pay for it.
