Bar El Mirador de Palma — Restaurant in Madrid

As we were walking around touring a trip to Madrid, it started to rain and not just a sprinkle. It was pouring. We decided to dip inside a place and take refuge from the rain and also grab a bite to eat. We sat at the bar.

The wait staff was fairly rude, hardly even addressing we were there. Was this because this is more of a bar for locals and not tourists?

We watched another group of 4 sit at the bar, the waiter obviously knew them. They were served food, drinks and conversation. All very quickly.
