Nepali Kathmandu Tandoori House — Restaurant in Madrid

We always stay in this area before flying out of Spain but we had never been to this restaurant…..and it’s very close to our hotel. We went for Christmas lunch becuase it was one of the few places opened. We REALLY enjoyed! The service and food are excellent! Our family of three enjoyed the menu for two (veggie samosa, chicken samosa, naan, rice, chicken tikka and palak paneer) and we also ordered the chicken soup for our son who had a cough. It was a lot of food, next time we would ask for it to be more spicy…but we understand the Spaniards can’t handle spicy foods. Pleasantly surprised by this place and we will defiantly be back. Can fully recommend this restaurant. We tried the Menu for 20€, you only need to order a drink with it which are quite cheap compared to other places. Samosas were served with a little salad and something fried that was delicious. The main dish was just perfect, we were asked if we wanted spicy or sweet food and got exactly what we had asked for (just a little spicy, not too much). For the dessert we tried this mango ice cream and it was just delicious. Considering you are getting a full 3 course menu for only 20€ we did not expect much but were pleasantly surprised by the extraordinary taste of this food. It really was delicious. The service is also very friendly...

This is restaurant hiding in a neighborhood in Barajas near Madrid airport. The inside is quiet, clean and tidy, with a very Nepalese decoration. My wife and I ordered garlic naan, chicken soup, salad, kebab, lamb sekuwa and keema rice. The meats were seasoned to the right extent, with right amount of spice to give the food a southern asian flavor but not too much to cover the original taste of the material. It wasn’t oily or greasy at all either. Naan bread and keema rice were perfect too. I’ve had Indian food and Nepalese food elsewhere but this restaurant was by far the best among all.
