Amazing food, hands down the best restaurant experience during the weeks long Spanish holidays! The waiter Jesus was amazing, went the extra mile, was super polite, suggested which deserts to choose, and gave my kid free ice cream 🍦 at the end! Food was so well cooked, good portion sizes, the steak was brilliant, the rabbit leg so juicy and succulent, the seafood soup so full of the different seafood pieces, I'm telling you - you can't go wrong with this place! Typical Spanish bar/restaurant with local food/drinks, amazingly quick service, and happy people. They have a big terrace at a beautiful crossing point next to the city hall and Franco's old Palace/hudge garden + a big inside sitting/commedor. The terrace has places in the sun but also enough shade. For people with kids, there's a kids play garden right uppersit the street. Honestly speaking, this place is imho a nicer place to sit then the square were most of the tourist go. Acudimos 5 personas por vez primera a cenar a este restaurante de los históricos de El Pardo. La manera de hacer la reserva a través de la web es muy sencilla, recibiendo un mail de confirmación. Acudimos puntuales y teníamos nuestra mesa ya preparada a nuestro nombre. El camarero que nos recibió y nos atendió en todo momento fue muy atento y profesional. Me sorprendió gratamente verle desbarasar la mesa y platos de manera muy profesional, cosa que hoy en día ya, por desgracia, es muy difícil de encontrar. Tomamos diferentes platos para compartir, y otros de segundo. Me sorprendieron gratamente las flores de alcachofa, y la paletilla de cordero, que creo, está entre las mejores que yo haya probado. Se deshacía en la boca. El resto también muy bueno. Por poner un pequeño "" pero"" y esto es opinión personal, la salsa de los caracoles me sabia un "" poco de mas"" a vino blanco. Pero ello no desmerece. Yo no pruebo el alcohol y lo detecto muy rápido. Los huevos rotos, las croquetas, el tomate rosa con ventresca y cebolleta, y el entrecott laminado también muy buenos. Las tres porciones de tarta de tres sabores que pedimos también muy buenas. A mi pregunta previa a pedir de que si eran caseras, el camarero me dijo que no pero que eran muy buenas. Y tenía razón, eran bastante buenas, pero yo me sigo siempre decantando por lo casero. Pero no desmerecio. El precio me pareció muy correcto y desde luego volveré...
