Not a good start; on-line booking slots start at 19:00, so we chose 19:30 to give them time to get organised. When we were shown to our table, we were told that the kitchen opens at 20:00. It was hot and stuffy whilst we waited, as they didn't put the air conditioning on until 8 pm. At 20:05 the waitress took our order, which came at 20:30. Meanwhile, at the bar next to us, a man in his 40's was making out with his new girlfriend, and the 3 people at the adjacent table were having a competition to see who could speak the loudest. Our sirloin steak was OK, as were the accompanying salad and roast potatoes. The sweet cider and red wine were lovely. After sitting on a hard wooden bench for 2 hours, we were ready to go. A friendly waiter had thankfully given my wife a cushion. We were going to have their fantastic pancake with fruit and cream, but could not stand the noise from the table next yo us anymore. So we paid and left. We have been coming here for around 15 years, but I doubt if we shall ever...
Read moreWe went here on a quiet Sunday afternoon where only around 4 other tables were being served. We sat outside in the covered patio and were constantly refreshed by the cooling spray system overhead (outside temp was over 30′C) Waiting staff were fantastic and absolutely accommodating of us trying to converse with them in Spanish. They had a decent enough menu both in terms of price and variety of food options. We were initially brought a few complimentary side dishes of paella and mini breads (one had accompaniment of a blue cheese dip and the other with potato salad). The dishes we ordered were served fairly quickly but not all at once. Standard of the food was off the charts! One of our table ordered the house special pizza which was absolutely incredible. Would definitely eat here again when I...
