When you go to Malaga, the first thing you should eat is Skewered Sardines cooked on an open barbecue over a wood fire. Chiringuitos, the symbol of the city in terms of gastronomy, are lined up on the beach. They cook seafood on skewers over a wood fire in the boat-grills located right in front of the restaurants. Miguelito El Cariñoso is one of the most well-known ones and the choice of local people. When we found the wood-fired barbecue, we also wanted to try the Skewered Octopus (€23). Spain, which is at the top of the world in terms of seafood quality, did not surprise again in terms of product quality. Especially the Sardine was the best we ate. It was an experience worth changing our route and stopping by...

Checked out all the restaurants in Pedregalejo as I have been here 12 days. Wanted to try grilled squid and after reading reviews settled on this one. Never had grilled squid here before, but had it in Kefalonia where it was excellent. However here it was a big disappointment. When it came, and bearing in mind that the restaurant was not busy, it was cold ( not luke warm or warmish, as could be expected in these restaurants) and was so tough it was near impossible to cut with a sharp knife. I had to leave it. I was not charged for the dish but nevertheless, there was no apology or explanation for the...

Great place for a fish lunch and glass of wine. Right on the Paseo Marítimo de pedregalejo. Miguelitos is famous for many fish dishes and paella.

The restaurant is normally very busy and booking a table is really required. The food is a very good standard the staff and service is very friendly and welcoming, bearing in mind the typical Spanish style waiters in seafood Restaurant.

The sardines are really fresh and are best eaten in the months without an R in them. Spanish calendar

Well worth the visit remember...

Good value for price. Delicious local food and vine. Good energy. I Love it!

Paella was quite average in my opinion, not very tasty, slightly bitter, with little seafood and lots of chicken. Not bad, just not one you would remember. Service was however just perfect, and prices are not bad. The view is very nice at sunset, but the terrace was almost fully booked at evening opening on Friday, so it's probably best to book in advance. Be careful, the restaurants in this area (not just this one) add 10% tip on the bill by default.
