D'alfil — Restaurant in Manacor

Me, my wife and 10 year old daughter ate here on our second night in calles de Mallorca. We had booked an all inclusive holiday but wanted to experience the local cuisine so decided after walking around the menu and atmosphere looked nice! I just want to add I am not a fussy eater at all but I ordered the mixed paella for one. It was just the right amount but as I started to eat it. literally ever item of meat or fish had to be messed with because of bones! Which made it very difficult to enjoy. While the taste was quite nice the amount of time I spent sorting through my dish made my meal a very disappointing one. Also the was a Westlife tribute act which was terribly bad but they decided to interact with the crowd (even if they were still eating). This could be more our fault for not eating earlier but the hour wait for our meal did not help. Then when we were done with our meals we just wanted to leave asap as the entertainment was annoying us. But the staff were so busy they never came to give us our bill or clear our table so after 30 minutes I went in search of the bill. To be given the wrong bill twice. First amount was nearly €30 more and the second was alot cheaper. ( I was tempted to pay that and go but didn't.) Visited few times whilst on holiday in nearby hotel , had some pizza and I can say it’s not real as it says on the banners outside what a shame , they’ve got nice pizza oven and written all over „artisan pizza” thought wow finally I gonna eat something better than in a hotel I’m staying ! And it was ! But not what I expected pizza seemed to be served on some kind of tortilla wrap no dough whatsoever I have worked in a Italian restaurant for 5 years and I’m an ex chef with a 15 years experience and hate when you go to restaurant read or see something on the menu and it’s just lies, I didn’t complain as said it was better than hotel but what annoys me are lies in the menu , service and staff ok , good...

Karaoke Paul, shocking equipment( speakers horrific, singers not heard due to out of the 3 speakers in the bar the voice of the singers only heard through one which was the other end of the bar). Inappropriate jokes not suitable for the family targeted audience. He made the set about him which didn't accommodate the people wanting to sing. When attempting to request a song he was very rude if the face didn't fit but was more than accommodating to the young women requesting to sing. Very disappointing time at this bar when so looking forward to the karaoke when first time...
