A Meal with a Million-Euro View We visited Maritim Restaurante for a late lunch after a morning at the beach, and it ended up being a highlight of our holiday. The restaurant is perched perfectly above the stunning cove of Cala Anguila, and the view from the terrace is simply breathtaking. The vibrant turquoise water against the cliffs is a sight you won't forget. We were seated promptly by a friendly waiter who was brilliant throughout our meal – attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful, with a mix of families and couples all soaking in the incredible scenery. The food lived up to the location. I opted for the grilled sea bass, which was cooked to perfection – flaky, fresh, and seasoned beautifully. My partner had the seafood pasta, which was generously packed with prawns and clams. We shared a jug of sangria which was fruity and refreshing, the perfect accompaniment to the meal and the sunshine. Looking at the prices, you might think it’s a little on the expensive side for lunch, with main courses mostly falling in the €20-€30 range. However, when you factor in the exceptional quality of the food, the brilliant service, and an atmosphere that is second to none, it feels worth every cent. You are paying for an entire experience, not just a plate of food. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. If you're in the area, I can't recommend it enough. A tip: try to book ahead and ask for a table near the edge of the terrace for the best...

I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. The staff was nice at the beginning — but as we payed the bill and wanted to explain the price issue the waiter was unpleasant and rude. So at the end they scammed us on the bill. The prices on the receipt didn’t match those listed in the menu, and when we pointed that out, the waiter threatened to call the police instead of offering any kind of explanation or resolution. While ordering food we asked about the price and the waiter told us the price but at the end on the bill it was double. WE ASKED WHILE ORDERING AND STILL GOT DOUBLE THE PRICE (100 euro instead of 50). Instead of trying to help, he became rude and accused us of not being able to speak English — even though his own English was not better. It was a very unpleasant experience that ruined our evening. Avoid this place...

Trabajo de forma diaria con restaurantes y sigo sorprendiéndome..., ser simpático ES GRATIS

Esta ha sido mi opinión 100% pero aprovecho para decirle al restaurante que trabajo creando protocolos de venta para camareros, para ayudar a mejorar ventas, elevar ticket medio... y puedo calcular cuanto dinero estáis perdiendo cada vez que un camarero no hace su trabajo de tomar comandas a la primera y hacer recomendaciones, si os interesa quedo a vuestra disposición.

Tenía que visitar a un cliente por la zona, y decidí darme un capricho y comer con vistas a la playa. La verdad que la experiencia no fue mala pero no para recomendar... para empezar me sentaron en una mesa que ni vistas ni nada porque un señor poco agradable dio por hecho que no iba a comer y me mandó a la terraza de abajo. Comí mirando una pard, teniendo el mar a unos metros la verdad que en ese momento me tenía que haber quejado (culpa mia) así que no digo nada..., después intenté ser amable con "el camarero" pidiendo la carta y se pasaban la bola para tomar nota, casi fue como si molestara e incluso para pagar parecia que molestaba. Yo creo que cuando me vieron española ya dieron por hecho que solo ocuparia una mesa, pero quizá es solo sensación mia porque también fueron bien antipáticos con la mesa de delante.

Estuve no más de 40 minutos como mucho y al final consumí un menú del día, un poco sin más, ensalada de toda la vida de primero, lomo con patatas de segundo y vasito de vainilla de postre, 14€ bastante correcto para un sitio a pie de playa... sin nada especial.

Lo único que salva mi puntuación es una de las camareras que me dio la sensación de que era "muy nueva", una chica morena muy agradable, porque el resto parecian obligados.

Hay muchas oportunidades de mejora, el lugar es espléndido y tiene muchísimo potencial, espero que se tomen mi mensaje como una oportunidad de mejora y no una crítica.
