Prohibition Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Manacor

We visited the Prohibition cocktail bar a few times during our recent trip to Sa Coma, Mallorca. It was always busy and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The lighting and general ambience was great and the views from our table out to the sea was fantastic. We were greeted by friendly and enthusiastic staff that took our orders at the table. They were fast, efficient and looked after us well. We didn't try any food but the meals we saw looked great. Instead, we were there for a couple of drinks and they didn't disappoint. One of my fave cocktails is an old fashioned and the one I had was fantastic. A little larger than usual but a great taste and great value. They were happy to adjust cocktails to taste. I asked for a Moscow mule but made it a tenessee mule instead (with tenessee bourbon) they were happy to oblige. Looking forward to our next visit when we go back. Highly recommended...

Pleasant location overlooking the sea and beach where there were often some entertaining beach volleyball games happening 😄

Only been open a few weeks and finding what works for them. Vegan options which was nice to see and care taken to reduce environmental impact such as the straws made out of corn.

Francis is the main man behind the bar - not only super cocktails but he has some great balancing tricks with bottles 😆

Very friendly, this became our regular stop for pre-dinner cocktails.

Eine reguläre Cocktailbar für schöne Abendstunden!bzw Prohibition Bar ist es leider nicht, da die Bar zwar innen sehr modisch ausgestattet, aber leider nicht wie aus der Prohibitionszeit versteckt oder ähnlich geführt wird.

(Nicht nur) Fruchtige Drinks sind ausreichend vorhanden, aber Barkollegen der klassischen Bars werden bei den Rezepturen im Menü feststellen, dass hier die Drinks eher auf der süßen Richtung sind. Americano mit zusätzlich Zucker als Beispiel. Haben Frozen Mango Daiquiri bestellt (war sehr gut) und einen Negroni. Negroni wurde auch mit zusätzlich Zucker gemacht und war leider nicht mal (für mich) mit prickelnden Wasser gestreckt trinkbar - sry :-( Drinks wurden sehr schön garniert, aber Melone passt (meiner Meinung nach) nicht zu Mango(daiquiry), außer bei einem Obstsalat (vielleicht eine Physalies oder ein Zitrustwist). Anmerkung wurde freundlich dankend entgegengenommen und an den Bartender weitergegeben.

Als Prohibitionsbar konnte, laut Servicedame, leider kein Vieux Carre, Sazerac (Cognac oder Whiskey), Manhattan (sweet, perfect oder dry), Corpse Reviver (#1 oder #2), Penicillin, Ernst Hemingway Special, French 75 oder ähnliche alte Klassiker zubereitet werden - schade.

Natürlich muss man schon sagen, dass der Old Fashioned, Mojito, Daiquiry in diversen Geschmacksrichtungen, Espresso Martini (dürfte sehr beliebt sein ;-) ) erhältlich ist, aber das hat grundsätzlich jede Cocktailbar auf Lager (bis auf den Espresso Martini - sehr gute Wahl Leute👍)

Abschließend zu erwähnen haben sie auch gute Musik, gutes Publikum und vor allem ein gutes Flair was eine gute Bar auszeichnet.

Komme auf jeden Fall wieder, aber vielleicht wird es dieses Mal...
