The Beach Bar — Restaurant in Manacor

Returned home today from a week in s'illot and had to get online to write this review.

We discovered The Beach Bar on our 4th night for dinner and reserved a table for each of the remaining three nights because it was easily the best food we had throughout our holiday.

Don't let the name or look deceive you. This place is small, busy, right by the beachside walkway, and very popular with tourists and locals. The food, however, is outstanding. Over the four nights my partner and I tore through Paella, scampi, calamari, sirloin, fish mixed grill, and surf and turf....together with copious amounts of sangria. Honestly we didn't have a bad meal. On average a litre jug of sangria, 1 starter to share, 2 mains and an extra side was around 45 euros.

Particular mention goes to the girls that work here, so so friendly and helpful and really go out of the way to make you feel welcome. Lucia was fantastic.

A final word of warning...do not get The Beach Bar confused with its neighbour which is called The Beach Cabin where we went on our first night and was very poor by comparison.

This little gem of a restaurant is amazing from the staff to the food .It is also very clean . Irene the waitress spoke fluent English and her waitress skills was good. The food is exceptional and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. We are there most nights (5out of 7 ) We would highly recommend the banana fritter and ice cream .It was that amazing we ordered it every time we went into the restaurant. The restaurant is on the sea front and we used this place for our lunch too.Highly recommend the tapas or omelette for lunch . Another plus for this restaurant they serve a lovely cup of English tea ! Definitely will go there if we go back...

This smaller bar/restaurant is located right along the Malecon making for great people watching and excellent beach vibes. Most tables here are located outside and right along the walking path. The vibe here is a relaxed , beach vibe with friendly and efficient service. Drinks --pina colada and the caipirinha were well made and served fresh. The food ---garlic mushrooms, croquettes and pizza were tasty and went along well with the drinks.
