I've recently moved here and having been a lover of Indian food for 40 years, finding a source became a priority. I have so far had only take away food although there is a large restaurant space with seating inside and out. The staff are friendly and speak perfect English. The menu is a good selection and you are asked about the strength of your taste of spice at the time or ordering which is good. When testing out a new source I always choose a curry that I know well. If it's good I then revisit a couple of weeks later to see if the standard is maintained. I chose a Jalfrezi, Plain Rice and a Nan bread. The Nan was well cooked, soft and fluffy and perfectly flavoured for a peshwari. The rice was ok but could have been a little softer in texture. The Jalfrezi both times was amazing. The portion sizes are generous and it is nice to get a decent amount of chicken and not 3 pieces and a lot of sauce. The sauce was wonderfully flavoured and spiced. Quite honestly one of the best Jalfrezis I have ever had. The meal at 15 euros was very good value. This place is tucked away in a corner near the beach so you have to hunt but it's well...
Read moreWent to this Indian restaurant today with a group of 4 and honestly, the food was really good – super tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. But what really stood out wasn’t just the food, it was the guy serving us – Suman from Nepal.
There were originally two guys working the floor, but one of them left (maybe for a delivery or something), and suddenly this one guy – Suman – was left to handle the entire terrace and inside, probably around 30 people on his own. And he did it like a pro. No stress, no attitude, just pure hustle and good vibes.
We were sitting on the terrace, and from there we could see 4 or maybe 6 people going full speed in the kitchen – super fast and efficient. But outside, it was just this one guy doing everything – taking orders, serving food, cleaning tables, handling payments. Mad respect.
I even asked his name because I was genuinely impressed. The guy deserves recognition.
Great environment overall, food was but Suman’s service was next level. Give this...
Read moreFuimos 4 personas a cenar.
Nosotros no volveremos y obviamente no recomiendo...
