Miel BISTRO — Restaurant in Manilva

This Bistro has a prime location in Sabinillias with a beach/sea outlook, fabulous in the January sun. However, today the service was very poor. We had to ask three times for our drinks order to be taken. Even after acknowledging we had not been served, other people were served before us who had just sat down. We also witnessed three other couples who sat down waiting to be served who gave up and walked off; and the Bistro was not that busy. We then asked for two small beers. Only one beer arrived and my wife had to order a white wine instead because the establishment had ran out of beer .. really??? My partner in crime tells me that the crepe dish she ordered here was fantastic. Unfortunately I went for the 'desayuno ingles', which turned out to be a mistake. This is the kind of dish you might get served by an AI bot trying to replicate an English breakfast. Wedges for breakfast? No mushrooms, black pudding or hash browns. Lots of beans but only one sausage (apparently they forgot the second one) and the bacon was oily and fatty. Had breakfast there recently. Was not impress with the dish. Bread was extremely dry, bacon and sausage did not help to make it more palatable. My wife’s dish looked good a savory pancake when I had a taste the cheese just overpowered all other ingredients. Not a fan of breakfast at this place. My cappuccino was good!
