Bao Garden Marbella — Restaurant in Marbella

Kinda disappointing actually, the service could do a lot better! I was waiting about 20mins to have my order taken, just a starter and a main. After i had finished my starter witch was just "ok" i waited at least another hour if not longer for the main course. When I receive it from one of the front of house he apologized on behalf of the kitchen and it was blamed on a oven not working right. Seems like the fryer wasn't working right either because the sweet potato fries i received were totally over cooked and over salted. Pressing a fry between your fingers, it would just crack and crumbled in to burnt salty dust. All together not a great experience and i definitely won't go back again. Has potential to...

Food was very tasty and the ambiance was nice however our party of 18 were sat down with drinks served and orders taken when they informed us that their card machine was broken but there was a cash machine across the road. We should have been informed of this before they served us. Also, the only wine on the Menu is €14.95 per bottle however we were charged €28.00 x 4 for their “premium” wine that we most certainly didn’t order. Nowadays most people use their phone or watch to tap and pay and the ATM didn’t facilitate this feature for cash withdrawals. Estuvimos un viernes por la noche y no estaba muy lleno (3-4 mesas dentro y otras 2-3 en la terraza). Atraídos por puntuación nos decepcionó bastante. El servicio y el trato genial, pero la comida…

Las gyozas estaban muy fritas, los bao llevaban mucha mayonesa y el precio no era muy agradable. 6,5-8€ por un panecillo con carne bañada en mayonesa. La carne mechada de uno de ellos además era muy seca, como si estuviera al aire un buen rato.

Los cócteles son otro tema a parte. La carta muy atractiva, muchos cócteles de autor pero la realidad es otra. A mi personalmente no me gustó la presentación. Un simple vaso de copas que te ponen en cualquier discoteca de Marbella, adjunto foto. Por lo que valen en este sitio se puede tomar uno mucho mejor en Leña, Lobito del Mar o en Boho Club con mucha mejor presentación y calidad.

2 estrellas por el servicio, no por otra cosa. Por lo que he leído, mucha gente se estaba quejando de la calidad y de los precios actuales y que este sitio era mucho mejor antes. Nuestra visita ha confirmado esas reseñas. Una auténtica estafa, nada...
