MASALA ELVIRIA INDIAN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Marbella

This is the large restaurant on the corner next to Fluid.

There are now 3 seating areas, a large terrace which seats about 40, 2 inside areas both seat about 20 people so another 40 inside.

The main inside area has sliding glass windows which are open in the summer and give you an outdoor feeling and a new extension which is quieter and more intimate with air conditioning if the heat is to much for you.

Great food friendly staff it’s always busy and has a great atmosphere and ambiance.

The restaurant can be extremely busy sometimes in the evenings especially in high season so there can be a delay in the food arriving, we usually go a little earlier about 7pm especially if your hungry if and don’t want to wait to eat. It generally gets packed about 8.30pm till 11.00pm

There is live music next door every evening this adds to the atmosphere and to can always pop next door to relax after eating and watch the entertainment.

Food is reasonably priced and good portions I’m not sure what some reviews are talking about with small portions unless your used to American style portions, we struggle to finish a main course and can’t eat an additional starter never mind a desert.

Food is extremely tasty and flavoursome and is cooked freshly to order so, as previously mentioned be patient it’s worth the wait during busier times.

Would defiantly recommend to anyone and we eat here all the time.

There is a also a good good variety of wines available to suite.

Have eaten here multiple times and the food was ok for a place we can walk to. Our last two times we had a horrible waiter in charge, but the last time really did it. We arrived with a stroller and ask him to sit by a table where we can put the stroller beside us as the baby was asleep, he said it’s not possible because all the tables that have space for a baby are for 4 people, so me and my wife couldn’t sit there. He offered us to get the baby and put the stroller inside? I couldn’t believe it. The restaurant is normally empty and in this case it was already 2pm and there wasn’t anyone at the restaurant. I tried talking to the waiter and explaining the importance of having our baby with us in the stroller and he just said it was only for 4 people. Tried to ask for the manager and his number but also not possible.

I will not be going back, there is a loot of good Indian restaurants around to have to be relying on this kind of attitude and service. Specially when the restaurant is...

My husband and I we had the best dinner at Masala Indian Restaurant in Elviria, and it was wonderful experience. The restaurant offers authentic Indian cuisine that is rich in flavours and aromas. The menu boasts a variety of traditional dishes, but the standout for me was the Rogan Josh.
