We made booking in the Rosmarino with the application the Fork. After asking few questions regarding to the discount we are eligible for, the older waiter was very unpleasant and was making weird comments (or whatever function he has there). The way he look at us I had a feeling like we were not "rich" enough to eat there and even been told the way we want to order is not very elegant. So let me tell you what the elegance is: is not to judge people by the cover. We both come from many years in hospitality and service like this is unacceptable. About the food: I'm sure the croquetas we ordered to start were not housemade but didn't have bad taste, yet nothing special. The pasta ravioli was microwaved because the dough was gummy and quite hard plus pasta arrabiata had no taste at all and was overcooked. The service was very slow and we got our drinks after the food arrived (the prices of those items are nowhere to be found and they charge for little not very good beer 3,8 € which I think is very very overpriced). Overall bad experience and waste of money. I don't get where all these good opinions come from. The star is actually for the younger waiter, who was actually friendly and the restaurant itself has comfortable chairs...
Read moreBeautiful modern Italian restaurant with excellent food. The Diavolo Prawn starter was shared between 2 of us and if we didn't have bread, we would have been fighting each other for plate licking rights! Spinach & ricotta tortellini were lush and perfectly cooked. Sole was expertly cooked and filleted in front of me, though I must say that I ate the accompanying vegetables almost as quickly as they were perfect. Kids had pizzas they said were the best of the holidays. Dessert was almost too much but we couldn't help ourselves but see if the fabulousness continued and am delighted to say it did indeed. Marvellous flavours throughout, accompanied by excellent, attentive but not intrusive service....
Read moreFood was delicious, great starters: croquetas and prawns. Main: Pizza, risotto and clams linguine. All dishes were full of flavour and taste, linguine could of had a bit more of a taste, but other than that was yummy! Slightly over priced food and drink, but you pay for location as in Marbella. Not a 5 star because of the staff, family based business with not great attentive staff, expected the 5 of us to have a starter each. Paid 40 a head for a glass of wine, shared starter, main and desert. Would go back if prices were slickly...
